Watched two episodes if The Almighty Johnsons, a 2010 Kiwi production about a family of brothers who are Norse gods. Not awful but not interested in watching more.
The Good Place - Kristen Bell comedy about people in a kind of Heaven after you die. A light and easy watch and pretty funny. Super hot British/Indian actress and Ted Danson on good form also keep it jnteresting.
The Frankenstein Chronicles - Sean Bean is the world's saddest syphilitic Bow Street Runner investigating brutal child murders. Looks expensive and well made, will continue with this one.
I just finished looking at the last two episodes of Dexter season one. Quite brilliant, stylish, intelligent, it had it all. I bought the Blu-ray box of the entire series (quite cheap from Italy), I'd be surprised if any of the other season were as good as the first & I'm sure they'll be a few ups & downs, but I'm leaving it for now, & will start either Deadwood or Fargo season one or Penny Dreadful, I bought the complete box of that as well.
The Frankenstein Chronicles series 2 - A bit too many flashback/dream sequences but i really enjoyed the first which was very grim and you couldn't really predict too much of. This series feels less strong but Sean Bean is on good sad form and the plot is interesting again.
