Interesting. They have the same ASIN numbers, which means it could be a simple mispost... but that doesn't rule out a DE existing, either.

I've pre-ordered both. Must remember to cancel the normal edition closer to the release date, if it turns out there really is a Deluxe Edition.

I have no issue double-dipping for Johnny's music - I just want to know whats what before I start throwing coin at vendors. Likely, I'll preorder a DE and then just pick up a "normal" album at Target or something.

Maybe the Deluxe Edition includes a vile of Michael Giacchino's tears?

Or a copy of the restraining order that John Williams had to file against Jason LeBlanc?

Just noticed this on the preorder page on the official website :

"The complete score from the legendary John Williams is now available for preorder "

Hopefully it's not complete like the "Ultimate Edition" of The Phantom Menace...

Yeah, it won't be complete as we know it. Plus Amazon shows it to include one disc.

If it's released "COMPLETE" then I will eat my shorts!

I would hope the end title finish does not end with an over-flowered flourish.

The original Star Wars brass hits were beautifully balanced. Empire had an extended ending which was to be expected by that stage in the game.

The Boston Pops presentations got to be a bit heavy. The final flourish from Star Wars is my favorite, though, because it doesn't end up chewing itself to bits.

Well, then I hope you're prepared to be sued by Bart Simpson for intellectual property theft.

A poster at JWFan found out it's a track called "Out of this World" from Experience the Adventure, whatever that is. It's not Williams and it's not Star Wars.

New poster, released in both portrait and landscape versions

There's a new trailer debuting tomorrow night on ESPN (Corporate synergy!); Four different short tv spots have been airing to promote it

I doubt those tv spot versions feature the same music that will be heard in the trailer.

Carrie Fisher sort of looks like Gary Oldman in Dracula. Also, are they seriously reusing the Death Star?

Heck, why not? The Empire got good value for money with their last two Death Stars.
Oh. Wait...

That busy artwork is nicely done. But, ah, where's Lukey? Maybe Mr. Dogbelle can do something with it? wink
