Jehannum Re: Passed as a euphemism for died. I was about to write "totally agree," but realized that someone would pipe in with "Not partially agree?" Let me just say that I cringe whenever I hear that phrase, although it's a recent phenomena, like using "crib" instead of "house." Can think of at least 10 more, but why bother?

Passed as a euphemism for died. Well, if you feel the soul never dies*, then "passed" is preferable. "Death" is so final bruce * i do

If I only have known this, if I only have known that, forget it , you didn't know. Near misses don't count. However I will agree near misses could be a warning, for sure if you are a avid bike rider.

"Pornstache" (or is it "Porn Stache"?) Normally said by those who weren't around in the 1970s and my God is it annoying. I always thought that was "porn stash", i.e. a stash of porn. Never heard it used as"moustache". You are correct, but I am referring to the following, which is often mentioned in reviews of old TV shows but it applies to just about everything, like American sports: http://www.totalprosports.com/2011/03/24/9-greatest-porn-staches-in-sports-history/ as someone who had a lot of pirate vids in the 80s i can testify that it was porn stash as i had my own substantial stash. however i chose to hide my stash in plain sight and mark them all BOXING SUPERBOUTS knowing full well the wife would never check them out. Hagler v lovelace and hagler v chambers were sub-headings code!! ha ha. as opposed to the hideous moustaches favoured by german male porn stars of this era.
