Everyone in this thread whose order was canceled and who yet received a shipping notice on Friday: I would check your cc statements to make sure you haven't in fact been charged despite being told you weren't. I was told last week that I had never been charged, therefore no refund was necessary, and that my order was canceled. Looking back over my statements, I actually was charged the full amount in September. They either lied to me outright or their system is really so screwy they have no way to track anything. Would not be surprised in the least by either. My patience with these clowns is wearing rapidly. I'm sending another demand for a refund. I expect push back. I intend to fight them tooth and claw. The money means nothing to me. It's the principle of how customers should expect to be treated by a business. This company has no right being in business.

No, those who pre-ordered were scammed. Regardless if you get your money back. If you were robbed but got your stuff back, you were still robbed.

I believe people have been tricked on this L-Edition. What i've seen it looks bog-standard with a number from Epic, if they'd mentioned liner-notes, deluxe discs, deluxe slip case/cover then I would be a believer.
The 2nd Limited Edition does have a different cover
Yeah a different cover, where does it mention on either release, DELUXE, this is a L/E product I'm not seeing much. 
It doesn't, at least from the front covers. In all likelihood the back cover is where "Limited Edition" will be stamped and notate the number you got "xxxx/2049." We'll just have to wait until next week to find out for sure, I guess.
I'm not putting the product down in a bad way, I'm being realistic to vague detail. Every-one knows 100% off La-La Etc, I/U/All see deluxe.
I don't see anything "vague" about the details listed on the product page. It's listed as a LE, not "DE" so not sure why "Deluxe" keeps getting mentioned. The only thing making the LE unique is the individually numbered packaging + the digital download (and alternate cover if you got 2nd Edition). What you see is what you get....

Like I said, it's pretty clear cut from the product description what you're getting. If you feel the contents being offered don't make it a true "LE," well, you're entitled to your opinion. It still doesn't change the fact it does differ from the standard release which qualifies it as a LE.
I'm not disagreeing that a LE by "number" only + different artwork isn't much at all - they definitely pulled a fast one here because I certainly would have purchased the standard version if I had the choice to begin with. But oh well, I'm content with the different artwork & numbered packaging. If you're not, well, sounds like the standard version would be the way to go.

As some-one said.. 9 quid off Ebay-UK, I'll purchase it there. You have a point about L/E, Etc. I do remember the recent Hellraiser anniversary, bog-standard, Lakeshore is a label who never push the boat out when it comes to quality.

In this case it isn't even different artwork (for the 1st Limited Edition)—just a number slapped somewhere on the standard artwork, supposedly. But as you say, this Limited Edition was sold under the guise of there being a limited number of physical CDs of the music available with no mention of a far cheaper standard release immediately (simultaneously, at this point) to follow (a far cheaper release that is virtually identical in every way to the Limited Edition, apart from the perfectly meaningless and pointless numbers), deceptively prompting people to jump on the offer.
