Nothing is planned as the people will be coming from everywhere right until the concerts but we should perhaps do a little meet up on Thursday most likely after the composer panel.
The main event of Krakow is on Sunday and it is possible to make it to both... unless you want to spent whole week in Krakow and meet some other guests that are participating in the earlier events... There is a direct train going from Prague to Krakow, which arrives on Sunday morning...
It might be interesting to do a little meet up, but I still have no idea how many people are actually coming from abroad... a lot of people from all over Czech republic will be coming to Prague but we have our regular meetings every year for the past 15 years or so... so no pressure to organize any meet up for czech fans...
It will be unfortunately very hectic on Tuesday and Wednesday with all the rehearsals and new arrivals to organize something like that but perhaps we could do a little meet up before the Patrick Doyle concert on 26th.
btw, Elliot Goldenthal is already in Prague... and what a supernice guy!
Also forgot to mention that unless this will end up being another disaster since we still have to sell at least 250 more tickets to at least cover all expenses, our next event will be on April 23rd - only a few days before James Horner's TITANIC live premiere in London... so hopefully more people will consider going to both...
Two (quite amazing) guests are already confirmed and will be revealed soon...
and that's just the beginning... wait until you see Elliot Goldenthal making his public conducting debut with Adagio from Alien 3... way too stunning to describe with words... jawdropping maybe ;-)
So did anyone actually attended the Opening Night Gala tonight? Patrick Doyle is already in Prague superbusy rehearsing for his concert this Friday. Tickets are still available, just in case... and we should definitely move at least a few more dozens of them to make sure there is another concert next year...
Just listening to the broadcast and it's magnificent... and also a little teaser for next year's event, which will feature the same group of artists including Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Kuhn's Choir of Prague and conductor James Shearman. More info about next year and tickets are available at http://www.filmmusicprague.com/index_en.html
