If you ordered with Kritzerland before, an email was sent announcing the title. So unless you fail to check your email daily, I don't see any problem.

Not to mention that Mr. Kimmel unofficially announced the title in the prior Kritzerland release thread.

I've bought from Kritzerland numerous times and I never get any e-mails from them. How does one subscribe to this newsletter? big grin

If you've only ordered the last three CDs you haven't been added to the list yet - I'm a little behind. However, if anyone wants to be added just drop us an e-mail.

And it's always fascinating about those who complain that they miss out on a 1000 title run when, in fact, it is still readily available - just not from us. I have said repeatedly that a lot of this goes to online dealers. In fact, I wish we got more orders at Kritzerland than we do.

Yes, fascinating. You're missing, or ignoring, the point; nobody missed out on this yet or complained that they did so.

The last Kritzerland disc I bought was Married To It (and it sounds jolly good! My favorite from the samples is track 8, Lonely Lucy), which I have yet to receive; but I'm in Canada, so I'll be patient. It's all good.

I'll e-mail you later!

Oh, really? I and others must have misread a post or two.

One of the finest scores by Jarre. Being from the Sub-continent region, the indian themed music is one of the most original motives that blend so well with the orchestral is unbelievable. One of the rarest occasion where a western composer sounded so original without sounding cliched when emulating the music of the east. Kudos goes to Jarre's conservatory for making him learn and understand the eastern notation style.

Highly reccommend this score. I already have the Bay cd release and would gladly make way for others who initially missed it to get this fine, fine score thats almost majestic.!!!

In fact, I wish we got more orders at Kritzerland than we do.

I usually order directly from each label (save BSX), but was unable to get to a computer yesterday until you were sold out at your site, and I just wanted to make sure that I snagged one before they were all gone because I love this LP. I like ordering direct with Kritzerland because I never have a problem with the customer service and I tend to get the order very quickly.

I missed out ordering TARAS BULBA from Kritzerland because it sold out in hours- I picked it up from Intrada, so no biggie, still, like you I prefer ordering from the releasing label.

Is this a sell-out speed record for a 1000 unit release? Just curious smile

Screen Archives still has copies available (I imagine Intrada and Moviemusic.com would also), so it's not necessarily sold out completely. That said, Intrada's China Syndrome release from last year, I believe, was completely sold out in around 4-8 hours. And then the chaos erupted. wink

"And then the chaos erupted. wink"

That is the polite way of putting it.

Those WERE amusing times, weren't they? big grin

This is an oustanding score, one of my favourites by Jarre. Very pleased that a new batch of people will get to hear it. And the film - I doubt there's any film I've watched more than this.

Surprisingly, these arrived really early and all were shipped out this very day. Now, I cannot believe no one has guessed our next title. And even more, I cannot believe not one person has mentioned Married To It, which many here had to have gotten last week.

I'd say it's a 25th anniversary RETURN TO OZ.
