I am dumbfounded at how all these soundtrack labels continue to cater to the wishes of
a SINGLE SOUNDTRACK FAN:

I believe there was money left on a nightstand in some scene or other.
It seemed rather blatant.
She didn't have a pimp or anything, and there wasn't a telephone conversation during which a deal was struck, if that's what you're wondering.
It was as blatant as a couple entering a room and falling into each other's arms as the scene fades, followed by a morning scene with the man or woman or both smoking a cigarette and looking extremely satisfied, even if tired.
A surefire way for an actress to get an Oscar back then was to play a "Woman of the Night". Ask Donna Reed or Shirley Jones.

I would buy any one of these sets IF the music were in stereo. And let's not forget my request for a Tennessee Williams boxset.
I have a huge problem with monaural CD sound. Monaural sounds flat. I can't hear individual instruments in the orchestration very clearly. And it makes the music boring. Certainly after you have heard a re-recording in stereo sound, it is like bringing color to the screen. Granted, it is better to have monaural sound than no music at all, especially for completists and collectors, but for sheer listening for entertainment, I turn to my 4000 stereo CDs.
