haineshisway:
I will release any Elmer that I can get my hot little Kritzerland hands on.

What about the one episode of "Gunsmoke" he did ("Hostage!")? It's CBS, which has "Hawaii 5-0", that Lukas cleared up recently was possible, but too much work, so I guess CBS plays along. Not sure what to pair it with. I wonder if there are anymore one-shots or pilot scores from CBS he did.

What about his rejected score to the 2001 movie "Rat Race"?

I know, isn't it funny he'd score two Rat Race films?

Should we take that last statement of yours as a "yes, I'll try?" wink

Yes, it would be just as funny if a label did two scores, with the same name, by the same composer... wink

About two hundred left - again, if I'd gone with my instinct of 1000 we'd be done by now, but I just wanted to do 1200 because it's Elmer and a world premiere. If you want me to hold one for you, just in case, let me know.

There was an LP release of the Sam Butera version of the theme – an album called “Sam Butera and the Witnesses play the Music from The Rat Race,” but it was just the theme; the rest of the album was filled with standards.

Bernstein himself also did a two-minute+ version of the main theme on this Choreo LP, which was later issued on a rare Moibile Fidelty Sound Lab CD. I never thought I'd get the whole score.

I had that LP and I have the Mobile Fidelity CD - how rare is that?

Not too rare, because I still have that LP and the Mobile Fidelity CD, too.
I kept the LP because, imo, it has better sound quality than the CD.

That would make sense, since the person who owned all those ava/choreo masters had no idea what she was doing and didn't have a clew as to what was a submaster and what was a master. Disgusting.

I will release any Elmer that I can get my hot little Kritzerland hands on.

I hope that includes the "Hollywood and the Stars" TV programs.

Hollywood and the Stars would make a great release. I believe there Kritzerland would have to deal with the David Wolper estate.
