I must have missed that one. What 'bigoted views' are you talking about?

You might want to give this interview a gander: http://www.salon.com/2000/02/03/card/

If you want to go a little further, its been a long-running joke with sci-fi fans that Ender's Game can be read as a fun war-games scifi romp... or basically condoning Hitler. It depends on the reader, of course.

This is a pretty interesting write-up, even if I don't entirely agree with it. Your mileage may vary. http://www4.ncsu.edu/~tenshi/Killer_000.htm

Orson Scott Card is a homophobic asshole, but Ender's Game is an AWESOME book and I am able to enjoy it without worrying about OSC's real life views.

The book doesn't touch on any of his morals or values at all, and I doubt the movie will either.

I was VERY much looking forward to a Horner score but them's the breaks.

I am not too familiar with Steve Jablonsky, only really knowing that I strongly dislike his Transformers work. But after reading all kinds of positive comments about his scores to Your Highness and Pain and Gain, I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and will listen to the Ender's Game OST with an open mind when it drops.

Honestly the film could be scored by kazoos and I'd still be looking forward to it immensely. It's an AWESOME book, and they've assembled a great cast. The trailer left me feeling very optimistic about it!
