11:50am? That's an odd time for the sale to end. I wrongly assumed the sale would end at midnight. I just tried to complete a purchase, but the coupon code didn't work.

I just did the same thing. Dang.

Matt sent me an e-mail to tell me The Fury was on backorder and that it would be sent out later, with the rest of my order having already shipped. Ah well, worth the wait for 20% off. smile

When I first heard the score for Rosewood on the soundtrack album in 1997, I was terribly disappointed. It never grew on me over the next few years, so I got rid of it. I wasn't interested in the La La Land release, at first, but I listened to the samples and found myself drawn into the music, something the soundtrack album never did for me; though to be fair, I have changed a lot since the late 90's. Listening to the full score now, I am absolutely delighted to hear such a fantastic piece of scoring from John Williams. It's like discovering an artist's forgotten work that had been left up in someone's attic for years. Thanks to all involved for releasing this gem and for making it sound so phenomenal.

This release was my first exposure to ROSEWOOD, and it's a very welcome and pleasant surprise. Lyrical and powerful stuff! I think once I see the film I'll appreciate it even more.

I remember buying the original cd and was throughly disappointed how much of the developed music was left off specialy the love themes. The themes are elegiac and have a down right 'muddy'or home and hearth type feeling which I just found so refreshing. I also think the score is at best quintessential "American" Now waiting for my order to ship from SAE.
