Will the Spartacus box get any cheaper?

Who knows? Might be time to finally pick up this set.

Only four copies left of Amazing Grace And Chuck (i just grabbed one among North and South
vol1)

So get yours before it´s gone.

I´m glad Varese put out this sale, i waited long some of these club titles price to come down,
and i was sure it´s not going to happen, but eventually it did. I hope some new titles will appear
soon.

Pulling the trigger on North and South Book 1 & 2 before it's too late. Could anyone tell me if Varese uses padded envelopes or something more sturdy to send out their orders? If they use padded envelopes for an order of these two box sets, they no doubt will arrive damaged, which would be a damn shame.

Just ordered 3 titles from sale-list:
Conti's North & South (book 1&2)
Elmer's Birdman

So, low quantity alert for this titles are:
North And South (92 Available)
North And South: Book II (298 Available)
Birdman Of Alcatraz (71 Available)

OK, when did you start working at VARESE?

Because that the only way you'd know what they have left in stock.

Unless you are one of those dorks who keeps using the shopping cart and trying to order 500 copies and seeing what it comes back with.

You wouldn't do that would you?

Isn't that a good way to find out how many copies there are left, if you are deciding whether to get it now or later? Or does that just not work?

Ford, why would it matter to you if that's what somebody does if it works for them and if they want to share what they learned with others? Why is that something to heckle somebody over?

Agreed. I appreciate that at least someone's willing to post the remaining qty so others can get the tittles before they are sold out. Why heckle when they are trying to help? Seems tacky...

Because it's a really rude and dumb ass thing to do.

That is worth pointing out.

If people aren't going to snap up Jerry Goldsmith's wonderfully infectious MR BASEBALL for three dollars - THREE DOLLARS - there's something seriously wrong with the world!

Yeah-infectious-like The Black Death!

You'd have to pay me £3 to listen to that one again-back in the day I bought it 'sight unheard'-what a mistake I made. It may have been suitable for the film-not even sure it was released in the UK-but it was a terrible disappointment on CD.

I don't care what anyone else thionks, I love "Mr. Baseball" Infectious with a beautiful love theme. Heck, I liked the Movie too.

I stand with you RM. I love the score.

I ordered both and received them in a cardboard box, one like those used by SAE. Both albums were undamaged.

I did as well and received equal care to the shipment. Nothing to worry about, 80.

I just placed an order for the following:

Gridiron Gang (Trevor Rabin) - $3.99
I Am Legend (James Newton Howard) - $4.99
Microcosmos (Bruno Coulais) - $8.99
Winged Migration (Bruno Coulais) - $8.99
Big (Howard Shore) - $13.99
The Racers / Daddy Long Legs (Alex North) - $12.99
Justine (Jerry Goldsmith) - $19.98

Of course, I had completely forgotten about The Getaway getting a 1000 copy limited CD release later this month, so I'll more than likely be placing another order at Varese real soon. :/

Well, considering quality of the movie and probably the score as well, I doubt there will be any need to hurry with getting a copy of that one. Hopefully they'll announce something more interesting along with it... KILLING SEASON for example, which will actually make some sense to order at all!
