WONDERFUL score! A theme you actually remember.

It's modern and contemporary, but with that heroic hook. I would love to see someone track this into Man of Steel and re-score it with KA2.

After a couple of weeks, this is still sitting atop my list of favorite 2013 scores. It doesn't hurt that the main theme, which appears much more often than it does in its predecessor, follows one of my all-time favorite chord progressions (vi-IV-I-V). razz If you liked the first one, you owe it to yourself to listen to the sequel, which I think is less disjointed/unpalatable.

As for tracking it into Man of Steel, I think the tone is all wrong. But, I'll tell ya, lately I've been thinking that the score for Kick-Ass 2 sounds like it would fit a redemptive sports film perfectly.
