Which came first, the horse or the hamburger? Or what was on the floor? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-23403935 "Greater Manchester Police said: "The sight and smell of this caused obvious distress and upset to customers trying to eat, as well as staff members." And then the horse arrived ...

Honestly, some people are just so dumb sometimes. It's a horse. One should be shocked if it DIDN'T dump on the floor. And all the people who were so stunned in this article, you can bet dollars to donuts that for weeks they will be telling this story to their friends and neighbors in a decidedly hilarious fashion. Well, I'm just guessing here, but I suspect it was the presence of the equine in the place in the first place that raised the eyebrows. Activism takes many forms.

This is making me nostalgic for the McDonalds of my childhood in the 60’s. The simple restaurant design, Golden Arches and all. I remember when the menu offerings were pretty much hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries and sodas, before the Big Mac appeared. In fact, even today 99.9% of the time when I eat McDonalds’ food, I get the two-cheeseburger combo. Nothing wrong with the other selections, I just prefer that old standby, but for one exception: McRib! Darn it; now, as they say here in the country, all this food talk has “flung a cravin’ on me”! Since it’s almost lunchtime, think I’ll go to the nearest McD’s for the combo!
