Aye, I liked Skyfall, couldn't remember a Bond movie I could sit through till the end and not get bored; well Casino perhaps but that went on a bit too long for my taste. I wouldn't mind hearing Newman return as well as I liked the duo's approach to Bond.
Interviewed by U.K.'s The Stage, Mr. Mendes threw one surprising thunderbolt - declining being considered for heading The National Theatre - and confirmed another anticipated one:
“But nothing is going to be determined until 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' [now previewing at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane] has opened,” he said. “I’m literally here from 8.30 am to midnight every day, and it occupies every inch of my attention. So we’ll make decisions about that once 'Charlie' has opened.”
It's being reported that not only do we have a star, a director, and writers, we also have a title....
Put as much faith as you want in this, coming as it does from the UK press (who are not known for 100% accuracy but this particular tabloid is not often too far off...
...allegedly, the title (at the moment) is "Devil May Care" - with the film of course based upon the Sebastian Faulkes novel
