Im on a 3day pass at the coast this weekend and saw this match on hotel tv.
You could tell how liverpools ticky tacky in easy areas wasnt gona ever break villa down becoz their final ball was woeful.
Bren tried every perm from 5 players with ballo, borini, llallana, lambert, sterling - and still they took an extra pass and fannied about with it on the Half way line. Second half was a foregone conclusion and i gave up after they hit the post - the only chance they created.
Kev n thomas - their final ball was so poor it was like watching west ham!! Well, no, maybe not that bad.

At this rate Leeds and Newcastle will be playing each other again next season - yay!

A point at Birmingham City was a good result for the mighty whites. An unbeaten record so far for the caretaker manager.

Yup, I enjoyed that, as I don't like the owner or the Manager. I think Pardieu will hang on for a big pay-out as he has a long contract (just think, he's the second longest serving manager in the Premier League after Wenger). I don't know who'd want to manger there, with the owner selling your best players, & buying other players without asking you, no good manager is going to put up with that.

A rather suicidal performance from us, gave the ball away a lot and two sloppy goals.
Surprisingly we fought back twice - a wonder by enner valencia - and could have nicked it at the end - they cleared the ball off the line onto the bar, possibly couldv been a penalty!!

Entertaining 2-2 and luckily i didnt get to the betting shop!

Liverpool at home next! Great.

I enjoyed the match last night. Good strike by Valencia. Seemed to me every sub that came on was a loan from another Premier League club.

Champions League tonight, Liverpool back in after a 5 year break. Playing some Eastern European team who were a bunch of amateurs 4 years ago. Surely can't be a worse performance than on Saturday against Villa.

Liverpool win, but look lame at sacred Anfield against some poorly-tattooed Bulgarians. I couldn't help but notice the long stretches of crowd silence at this ostensible home game.

"Five-year break"?!? You mean five years of finishing sixth or worse and not qualifying, right, Thomasino?

That's a favourite part of the famous European atmosphere at Anfield Jimbo, when you can hear the players shout to each other...

Ask any Manc United fan what that's like...

Yeah, it was so quiet one could hear the squeaking of Stevie G's wheelchair as he was placed at the penalty spot. (which was well taken, of course).

Welcome back mate, wev missed you! And the who dares awards.

Thanks, Bill-o! Here it is for week four:

Surely the Who Dares Wins Award belongs to those underdogs Man U who bravely battled to victory over Mighty QPR !!!

Silly Kev! The Who Dares Wins Award is not given sarcastically or politically. It is given impartially.

Good luck against West Ham this Saturday. smile

Oh, I should mention that Arsenal were outplayed from start to finish yesterday in their 2-0 CL loss vs. Borussia Dortmund. Ozil and Wilshere played atrociously.

You should have heard Merson and Souness on sky last night - they slaughtered arsenal.
No shouters, 36 midfielders who are the same, could have been six nil, etc etc. Savaged them.

I'd watch Sky Sport just to see Natalie Sawyer, Hayley McQueen, and Charlotte Jackson--and they wouldn't even have to speak.I used to watch Sky Sports news every day just before leaving for work. I need to post some totty pics of those Bonnie lasses soon.

Yes, the Gunners were terrible. Not only that, but by sixty minutes in, the looks on their overpaid faces told me that they were resigned to defeat and they just wanted to get the hell off the pitch. Jurgen Klopp was unusually subdued (and poorly attired in crumbly-looking hoodie). Maybe because he is on the short list to replace Arsene Wenger?

Hayley is the daughter of former Leeds, Scotland (and Man U, unfortunately) centre back Gordon McQueen. All I can say is that he must have a stunning wife.

Bayern Munich 1 Manchester City 0

"Death by Boateng." lol

Thread favorite Manchester City have their powder-blue hearts ripped out three minutes from stoppage time. Nice to see everyone else's beloved Manchester side continue their floundering Champions League ways.
