The only way West Ham doesn't get this week's Who Dares Wins Award is if West Brom topple Tottenham at Three Point Lane tomorrow. Otherwise, it belongs to West Ham.

BTW, speaking of the Roy Budd composition that serves as the award's theme, the version I use is from some magnificent vinyl upload. The piano and percussion on that cue are fooking stellar.

Saw the first half of the West Ham-Liverpool game and was impressed by how well the Hammers played. They dominated and actually played as a team rather than eleven overpaid "individuals." As for Liverpool, how badly do they miss Luis Suarez now?

Boo! West brom did topple tottingham - But ignored!
There are some who might argue united are so poor still that the west ham victory over liverpool was greater as everyone knows liverpool are better than united at the moment! Ha ha.

It was a tough choice but Leicester coming back from 1-3 makes the difference.

I've been in Wales this weekend (bit of a retro-mini-break - I used to go to Towyn as a kid, a few times a year, with the fam and stay in a Caravan and a Pappa of a mate has now got a nice new swanky one so we went and stayed there).
It was getting to half five but everyone was getting hungry and fancyin a chippy tea, so I gave my usual obsession of findin a pub showin the game a miss for some comfort grub (although I had a Bitter Blue mate gleefully givin me updates as the goals went in via his phone).
Sounds like we never recovered from the 'ammers bright openin and did the usual huff and puff before conceding a late breakaway (ain't seen the highlights on MOTD yet either).
The only good thing is while we haven't started the season that well, all the others are struggling with inconsistency too (save for Chelsea maybe), so all it will take is a run of wins to fire any team right up there.
Really cheered up today by the Mancs and Blue Shite results. Spurs losin was also fun and the top two draw was a bonus. Will enjoy MOTD2 tonight smile

Yeah there was a spell in the west ham game where i thought your mob would attack with urgency but they did what they did against villa - passed it back and forth across the back like they were 2-0 up not 2-1 down.
Weird. Never saw third goal coming - we had kouyate hobbling and injured by then and hadnt threatened liverpool for about 20 mins before we scored and 2-2 seemed imminent. Our 4 africans provided the power and pace and it was Downing who delivered the guile.

Frank Lampard scores a late equalizer against his old club as thread favorite Manchester City draw with Chelsea, 1-1.

Tedious game. Heading for a 0-1 once city went down to ten men.
Ironic and mad that lampard should get the equaliser and arrive in penalty area poorly marked when chelsea know his game inside out.
City deserved their draw nicking one with ten men.

Is your cough to tell us you hevent updated us with leeds weekend yet? Didnt see result.

Not at all, Bill-o! Scottish Football IS crap, but if Celtic were to get into the PL they would be one of the big boys, IMO. Here's a picture of Tosh for you...

I think he was maybe referring to the fact Leeds have officially gone over to the Darko Side...(sorry!)

More money from sky in the prem would help but unless they got a mad qatari multi billionaire, i think they would struggle to attract real top names.
They get champions lge every year but dont get any better and cant attract top players.

London and chelsea or glasgow n celtic? Most players would choose london and sunshine.

Yes, Thomas, thanks - but if you want something doing, do it yourself!

Leeds won a magnificent victory against local rivals Huddersfield Town on Saturday. The mighty whites over-ran the terriers three scores to nil, thus paving the way for caretaker manager Neil Redfearn to be given the job on a perman.... oh, hang on. No, he'll be back off to coaching the academy soon, as long as Darko Milanic can get into the UK without being diverted to The Hague in an amusing misunderstanding.
