Here are some updates on some old Prometheus albums.

From the Morton Stevens action and horror twofer:

And an epic sci-fi score:

It is an unofficial fan-edition of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, mixed and mastered by a friend of mine. The whole thing is based on the OST and also the FYC release and it honestly sounds even better than the already very good official album.

I created seven different designs to choose from.

If you're interested in the making-of process behind it, please visit my website www.hqcovers.net.

Somewhere previously in this thread there were some Michael J. Lewis covers., but I don't recall seeing ones for his "Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe" and "Medusa Touch" promo CDs.

Has anyone produced anything that I can use as a substitute for these?

Wow!!!!

Where do you get the jewel case mockups? I've looked high and low and have yet to find just the right one. (Probably just haven't looked hard enough.)

And nice to see your homage to the 1997 RCA Victor release. smile

One of the really nice things about your work is that it's on a project-by-project basis, unlike some of the labels whose covers always tend to look like they're from the same art house - not that this is a bad thing per se but I think sometimes the medium isn't as much the message as it could be.

This is a problem I've noticed as well. There's a particular individual who regularly makes CD art for one of the big labels and it always looks the same, regardless of project. It doesn't affect the music, but it's annoying to see that name on a release I'm interested in.

I couldn't find any high resolution images to work with, so this is the best I could come up with for The Medusa Touch at the moment.

It might be hard to believe but hi-rez key art from this movie isn't exactly in abundance! smile

For my classes in desktop publishing I had to design something of choice, and apply a number of specified techniques. So I decided to have a run with the liner notes of FSM's "The Omega Man 2.0", and create a CD booklet. As it does not have to be printed, the pages are in reading order, and not in printing order.

If anyone is interested in taking a look, I stored it in PDF format on my website:
http://www.chriskepolis.be/The%20Omega%20Man.pdf

Comments, good or bad, are welcome.

Good work! Very well done. I've made a few digital booklets myself and I know how much work they are.

Most of them are for sale on Graphic River:

I've scoured the whole internet by now and garnered a wide collection of Photoshop mockups, yet still not enough. I'm a bit addicted to them smile
