Tedious game. Heading for a 0-1 once city went down to ten men.
Ironic and mad that lampard should get the equaliser and arrive in penalty area poorly marked when chelsea know his game inside out.

Never thought much of City's shirt until I saw how cheap it looked on a player of Lampard's high standing. I'm no fan of Chelsea (dreary style of play) but at least their shirt is aesthetically pleasing.

Fashion sermon over. lol

West Ham injury report:

Cheikhou Kouyate: West Ham midfielder ruled out for six weeks

Liverpool scraping for news report:

Liverpool: Brendan Rodgers has 'no concerns' over Steven Gerrard

Also, Anfield expansion approved. Now Thomas and Kev have 14,000 fewer excuses on why they can't attend Liverpool matches:

Yeah saw the kouyate news on sky last night. Could see it was a bad one when he fell but we had used our subs and the boy stayed on. And by all accounts was still moving quicker than gerrard!!
Thats a joke. I see hes taking some stick today and talkshite radio were asking is he finished.
I think its fair to point out that when you have targets making runs like sturridge does you can hit them with the ball. When you have sterling playing too deep and ballotelli and borini not making the same runs you lose one of your teams major strengths - which is gerrards ability to pick a pass into the path of a runner.

Read a funny Koppite quote about the Liverpool game yesterday...
"I hate it when you leave a game ONE minute from the end and you miss 28 goals".

It's Kolo Toure, nothing surprises me with him. Although the pass from Sterling left a lot to be desired.

Merseyside Derby on Saturday, Everton never win at Anfield but God knows how this one will go. I doubt it will be a scoreless draw.

Aye, while the challenge from Toure was rather rash - to say the least - the back pass from Sterling was a shocker and when he missed his pen too, I figured he had money on Middlesbrough!! wink

153 yesterday!

not expecting the hammers to deliver the second-best possible birthday present - a win against a team with 1 fit defender! its set up for us to nick a result but you can bet his schoolboy defence will play out their skin and be the story of the weekend. If we cant beat united today, we never will.

Some strange patterns in the Liverpool-Everton match, and not just on Balotelli's head! First, both teams are playing in that slow, languid England 2014 World Cup style which is not surprising given how many 'pool and Everton players are on the Three Lions, but Roy Hodgson is in attendance!

Beautiful weather they're having in Liverpool by the looks of it; sunny and bright.

...and a spectacular 92nd minute equalizer from Phil Jagielka stuns Liverpool!

West Ham damn near had an equalizer but come up short against thread paper tiger Manchester United, 2-1.

Frank "Don't Bury Me Yet" Lampard scores in City's 4-2 win at Hull.

what a pisser. united playing their worst for years, down to walking wounded and kids and old men on bicycles - they go down to ten men with Rooney sent off and still we cant come away from old trafford with a draw. fkn rubbish.

and theyve gone above us in tbe table. like i said, cant win today we never will.

Rooney getting sent off should have given your boys the advantage but then United had the majority of possession from that point on. I don't know why that happens in football so often. The slightest offside was the final knife but West Ham's shoddy defending at the start is the real blame here; allowing RVP to waltz into the area like that.

Tim Howard had another outstanding match for Everton. Those bees were buzzin! wink

Sheesh, Leeds United lost to Brentford 2-0. Now there's zero chance of any of you boys chiming in this weekend! I can only hope you're all commiserating amid scattered pints of (non-skunky) Newcastle Brown.

not a sky game here jim so wont see it till later on highlights.
nothing surprises me though about their defending. especially against united we usually do implode, even when they are playing badly we manage to make em look good.

poor old leeds. they got new manager darko in yet?? no new manager win, thought that was customary.

and i see joan rivers mate has resurfaced on general

Yep, "Donny" Darko seems to have dismantled in three training sessions all the good work Redders did. Mid table mediocrity this season, I think...
