Can we please, just this once, not begin arguing about shit? Like, can we try it just this once? Can we try not to throw personal opinions at each other like they're dodgeballs (or worse), dispense with sarcasm and defensiveness, and just try to be civil and discuss this amazing music on a release that we're here to celebrate?
There may be problems with this intro or that transition or this part of packaging or that part of the booklet or this thing about shipping or that thing that we didn't get...there is always something that sets people off. Would it be terribly taxing on anyone if they tried for awhile in this thread to go that extra mile to be pleasant to each other? To try to avoid those antagonistic landmines? I'm so tired of negativity popping up in threads about music that we love like it's a whack-a-mole.
I'm not calling anybody out, I'm just issuing a personal plea. I just think it would be really cool. Let's try to celebrate this fantastic music that we are lucky enough to have issued on CD for a pretty swell price by one of the best labels out there (if not the best).
It was a little bit longer when I purchased "Titanic" last november. Still, it wasn't as long. I'm sad for you! :/ I hope it will be at your doorstep on Monday.
I am not holding my breathe, but at least I have something to look forward to. Eventually it will be here and it might also be a good thing for me to practice my patience. For my future kids and stuff.
@DeputyRiley: You're making a good case there. There is so much negativity all around us every day and I feel like it is not very productive to focus on the negative. And it's also more fun to celebrate this release for the gift that it is.
Meanwhile, while I wait for mine here, the tracks that I am most excited to listen to are:
- Get Out (2:32) from "Innocence", since I assume it's that awesome track from the scene that is depicted on my icon and that's just one of my favorite moments of the entire show.
- Riley’s Departure (2:26) from "Into the Woods". Obvious reasons, finally a Wander cue. I loved when they used that track on the "Casting Buffy" feature on the season 5 DVDS
- Angel Leaves (2:17) from "Chosen". The Cookie Dough speech!
- The Construction (2:23) from "The Gift".
To the ones who have their copy already, what have been your favorite tracks so far?

I heartedly agree. Here's the deal. The label puts something out without errors and folks won't have reason to call them out. Sounds fair? :-)

Well, I can say that the Judge went BOOM in this track!
I'm listening to season 4 but I really love these NEW tracks so far: - Buffy Saves Friends - I Hit Him - Cordelia's Bear - This Is Nice (and even more than that in fact) - Spike My Boy - Get Out - The new and more powerful version of "Close Your Eyes" - Alt. Willow - The Prom - Graduation Day 2
What scene was "Spike My Boy" from? Buffy is crying on her bed + her dream + she's coming to Jenny's classroom.
Then it's such a random title. Hahaha.
I will rename mine to "Moment of Happiness" as this is the TRUE Moment of Happiness cue from the episode. The one on the season 2 promo/Rounder release actually has a different version of the B/A love theme as intro. They have taken the version from the scene with Buffy and Giles talking in his car at the end of the episode. The scene where Angel says "Spike, my boy" actually has no score.
So happy for you Buffdale!! Hoping to have mine on Monday or Tuesday! Hasnt moved since Thursday
The music from season 5 is... WO. I have no words. Love Montage is perfect. One of my favorite for sure. I'm kind of... Sad, that Buffy vs Dracula only get the suite treatment. All the music from this episode is phenomenal. Too much of it is left behind to my taste. But what we got is great. (I still hope we can get the full score IF there is a second volume ha ha)
EDIT: They used the second version of Nerf Herder's music.
Since the show has been off the air for so long, it will probably take time for people to notice that it exists and save up the money to buy it. All we can do is just spread the information in social networks, forums, Youtube comments etc.
