'Life of Pi' by Mychael Danna.

One of the best scores of recent times in my opinion.

Hours ago I listened to Jerry Goldsmith's "Sebastian," which, to put it lightly, I didn't like. You'll find my feelings about it under "SEBASTIAN: BAD GOLDSMITH BAD SOUNDTRACK."

Stu Phillips: Battlestar Galactica Volume 1 (Intrada). It's adding some drama to a boring night at work.

Though I'm not a Beltrami hardcore fan, I can't stop listening to WORLD WAR Z.
So fantastically Zimmer-style, so ominous, so lyrical and melodic but also so atonal and savage.

I like Beltrami here and there as well, but your description has sold me on checking that score out next.

'Pee-Wee's Big Adventure' by Danny Elfman.
This should keep me smiling while I'm studying.
