So what happened with that? On your Facebook page there's a recent message that you don't plan to release it and you don't seem to be very sure about the condition of the tapes.
I had the exact same question! I remember that quote and I also saw the fb post.
Just figured I will inevitably pick up the DVD set anyway. Still, it was a pretty definitive post... one that probably shouldn't have been made if a release is such a long shot.

An official He-Man MOTU channel has been launched on YouTube on december past year. Among other He-Man stuff, there is playlist within the channel called Music of Eternia, featuring 9 cues so far, which 7 of them hasn't been released on the LP or CD. How the music was extracted is explained in the beggining of every video. The channel is weekly updated and a new cue can be added as well.

Well the fantastic thing is: MV pulled it off after all! So thanks a lot MV for another La-La Land dream-release, well done!
Hopefully we'll be able to read more about this rather special production story in the booklet.
