Since LLL is back on track with Batman TAS, and Trek TOS is finally done, my only remaining grail is Jaws.

Jaws: two-CD film score/album soundtrack. Please already.
Jaws 2: expanded edition or straight reissue (the original's fidelity and program are excellent).
Jaws 3: film score (a reissue of Intrada's album soundtrack could be redundant).
Jaws 4: whatever there is.

How nice a box set would be. smile

Bruce Broughton: Baby's Day Out and Young Sherlock Holmes complete

Elmer Bernstein OSTs: To Kill a Mockingbird (#1 Holy Grail), Walk on the Wild Side, The Carpetbaggers, tv documentaries including Making of the President 1960 and Hollywood and the Stars

More tv scores and themes, including The Defenders, Travels of Jamie McPheeters, Ben Casey, Profiles in Courage, Perry Mason, CD release of Dick Powell Presents/Four Star Television (Gilbert et. al.), more of the United Artists theme compilations, Don Costa's theme album "Hollywood Premiere" (Columbia/Sony).

EDIT: How could I forget? Billy Goldenberg: Columbo, Harry O and anything else (particularly 70s material)

A Ben-Hur or Superman blue box style release of the complete music to the Star Wars and Indiana Jones films. Using the same tem that transferred & mastered the Star Trek TMP last year. Go right back to the multitracks as they did. New heads for the playback equipment - again as they did for TMP. The red carpet treatment! With a bonus high-res 24/96 version on a Bluray disc (similar to what happened with the complete Lord of the Rings bonus discs). Well I can dream... wink

How many releases of these scores has there already been, surely you can make do with what you have already? I mean, how much extra music can there be? I'd rather have something new than another release of something I already have the best of! The sound quality isn't that dire on the existing releases either.

We could 'make do' with any number of releases of our favourite scores. Lots of us dream of having the definite sets however, and since this is a wish list...!

And speak for yourself, but the mixing on the 2-CD of Empire is dismal (the aural equivalent of tunnel vision!), and the mixing and sound on much of Jedi is appalling on a decent playback system. The last time these three scores were mastered for an official release was 1997. It's merely been re-releases since. The sound on the Arista 4-CD sets is extremely good, but lots of questionable and frustrating editing choices.

And let's not forget the music to the prequels which has yet to receive worthy treatment at this point...

Bruce Broughton: Young Sherlock Holmes
Alan Silvestri: Predator 2 [Deluxe Edition]
Basil Poledouris: Starship Troopers [Deluxe Edition]
John Murphy: Sunshine
Abel Korzenowski: Metropolis
John Williams: Jaws [Remastered]
John Williams: Jaws 2
John Williams: Dracula
John Williams: Star Trek Prequel Trilogy [Complete Boxset]
James Horner: Cocoon
James Horner: Boy in the Striped Pyjamas
James Horner: The Hand
James Horner: Apollo 13

It would be nice to have Apollo 13 re-released without the dialogue. I was lucky and had one of my European friends get me a copy without it. Wonderful.

Would like to have Sugarland Express and Secret Ways released but I am a dreamer. Good other requests listed.

Would like to have Sugarland Express...

I hope the hold-up there is not also responsible for the hold-up on Jaws. That would be rough.

Hi everyone. Long time reader, first time poster here.

Hey, AD, hello and welcome aboard!

John Williams - Star Wars Episodes I-VI (we still need a truly complete / definitive collection for this)
Indiana Jones Movies (ditto above)

Joel McNeely - Young Indiana Jones (a more expansive multi-volume collection)

These can't be said enough! Actually, I'd go beyond just Joel McNeely to include the entirety of Young Indy scoring (or, with the Williams feature film scores, just "the entirety of Indy scoring").
