Murray's record in GS Finals -

Played 3 Matches, Lost 3 Matches

Played 9 Sets, Lost 9 Sets.

This match won't last 90 minutes - over by 3.45 pm with a lot of ppl left scratching their heads wondering what to do next. LOL.

You may be right, but at least you won't be bored afterwards - you can sail some little paper boats in that big bucket of cold water you carry around wink

So will Andy finish the afternoon as a Brit or a Scot?

I hope Federer wins. He's a down-to-earth, modest guy, while Murray is a show-off and a prick.

Must get annoying being so right all the time...

And no surprise to see a groundless opinion from Goldsmith-Roulez!

Murray might lose in the end, but he plays tennis ten times better then the three of us do anything.

Come on Sir Andy!

Typical too see the moronic, and, worse, pathetically chauvinistic England-forever-whatever opinions of Tall Guy.

I love England, because there's a lot of better people there than this guy!

1 set all and Murray has just lost his service in a 20 minute game to go 2-4 down in the third.

A great effort by Murray regardless of the outcome.

I happened to have been in Edinburgh last week. Mention ANYTHING like that the Scottish have any kinship with their southern neighbours and you're in deep trouble. Especially on Saturday nights at the local Wetherspoon. wink

On the first morning there, the owner of the B&B I was staying in asked me what I wanted for breakfast, and in a reflex I said "Full English, please" - The smile on her face froze immediately, "Sorry, we don't have ENGLISH breakfast". Of course, it was still the same breakfast, the just call it "full breakfast".

Federer for the win!

Alongside Pete Sampras and Jimmy Connors, he's surely the greatest pro tennis player of all time.

Well, it's bye bye SCOTLAND's Andy Murray wink

Roger Federer was the well deserved winner and it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Kudos to Murray who put up such a ballsy ( pun intended ) effort.

Can't disagree with this but a great performance by Murray who has improved so much over the last year or so.

I was never a big fan but, Scottish or British, I have real respect for him now.

Murray - basically outplayed by a real legend.

The Top 3 are a league above Murray at GS level.

Murray really needs to sort out a Plan B when things get tough.

Nice one, Andy, classy and generous in defeat. And a worthy winner in Roger Federer - cute twins, too.

All correct points. A bit more Lendl influence won't do him any harm. I now revert to my usual interest in tennis outside of Wimbledon fortnight - ie very little.

Undeniably true, and the one thing I can remember you saying that made sense!
