Maybe LFC should give some money back too! (and how about a FREE Balotelli shirt as well).
It's a shame we got INTO the Champs League with last seasons team, but now we have to compete in it with THIS years team!
Anyway, I'm away for 3 weeks now (cruising to USA via Royal Caribbean). Doubt I will be checkin in here much. Nowt much to talk about anyway (for LFC and Leeds fans anyway).
I'm sure Bill will be ever-present though, while his boys are on their way to playin Real Madrid next season wink
Toodle pip.

Great win for The Irons Bill. Like the look of Sakho and Valencia, Song in midfield. Good stuff.

phew, that was exhausting! we upset city rhythm and took the game to them. inevitably we rode our luck last 20 min and scraped through with good defending, good goalkeeping and city rushing n fluffing all their chances.

Quick post from Barca before ship departs tomorrow!
Great win for da Hammers (didn't see it though, was taking my 4th sight see around old Barcelona).
Did watch Liverpool though. Man, that was horrible...huffing and puffing against a very average Hull.
But then, we are a very average Liverpool.
Thankfully, I shouldn't have to endure them for at least 2 weeks now smile
Catch ya later dudes!!!

Leeds sack Darko after just 6 games! That's 4 managers in 8 months since Mad Massimo took control. Might break his record at Cagliari at this rate. What's going on TG?!!

no jim and this flounders on page 2.

a good draw for the hammers agnst those serial grapplers Stoke.
first time we fought back from 2-0 down in a match in 3 and a half years.

Bad display from liverpool Thomas, - defence shocking against a slightly improved newcastle.

Poor all over Bill. Ragged defending, no creativity in midfield (at least Gerrard tried) and no cutting edge up front. General play is very slow and predictable, miles away from last season. God knows what will happen against Real Madrid on Tuesday.

cant remember but in lead up to i think second goal newcastle came down the left and their full back sped up to overlap the man on the ball - you could see they were building 3 against 2 - but the livrpl midfielder in the middle who couldve gone with the run just jogged in middle of park. i think it was henderson, not sure. Anyway the numbers eventually led to a goal.

Yeah think it was him. He's been poor so far this season, seems to be reverting back to the Henderson under Dalglish.

Yeah think it was him. He's been poor so far this season, seems to be reverting back to the Henderson under Dalglish.

He may have been put off by the booing whenever he got the ball. Ditto Mignolet. Such is the reception for any former Sunderland players who appear for the opposition at St James's Park. Jack Colback, on the other hand...

I was at this game in the prawn sandwich boxes, the willing victim of corporate hospitality. Great facilities spoilt only by the poor match. It was tedious in the extreme until Janmaat whacked Balotelli arse over tit - for which he should have seen red but only got yellow - and that seemed to inject a bit of spark.

We spotted an actor from Emmerdale at the ground on the way in, and I'll remember that a lot longer than I'll remember the football.

It was a poor spectacle TG. I'm pretty sure I nodded off on my sofa at one stage. Had to laugh at BT Sport promoting it all week as a goal fest judging by previous games, and it ends up a damp squib. Pardieu is the new Geordie Messiah, by the looks of it...

Tell you what, though... watching a match at SJP in November in shirt sleeves is the most persuasive sign yet of global warming.
