I dont really feel like I want a reboot of the show. But a brand new show from the verse would be amazing! Dont have to involve any of the characters from Buffy or Angel, but just SOMETHING from the verse would be cool! Like, one of the millions of slayers activated from Chosen, early life Giles/Ripper or Tales of the Slayers which could show us past Slayers. Totally agree with Mr. Acathla. Part of me -- 30%, consisting of curiosity, nostalgia and high hopes -- wants a reboot, primarily because when you really love something, oftentimes you just want more more more. However, too much could go wrong, and I thought the series ended strong. It's a bit of a novelty to reboot it (or more than just a bit) and it's so easy for the novelty and high hopes to eclipse the purity of creating something wonderful. Would I like to see the original characters from the Buffy series in even just one scene together? Hell yes. But, as Honorary Acathla has pointed out, there is a rich and vast 'verse to mine from. His ideas are great for a new show, and I think it'd be smarter to go that route than simply "resurrect" Buffy. Look what happened last time that occurred? #Season 6 (and I'm not referring to poor quality of that season, which I really enjoy, I'm talking about the fictional consequences within the show). I think it'd be cooler and I humbly suggest that it'd be smarter if the creators (ideally Joss but next-to-ideally, any of the creative forces behind-the-scenes on Buffy like Marti Noxon in a perfect world) started a new story within the 'verse and brought in Buffy players for story arcs or guest spots or even cameos. Like the way they brought Buffy dudes and dudettes onto the Angel scene -- some for an episode, some for a few episodes, some for an entire season. That way you could still incorporate the original Buffy (or Angel) characters (ideally played by the original actors, of course) but you run a much lesser risk of shamefully capitalizing on their past success in a hollow or unfulfilling way. I think past 'verse main players are best utilized going forward (if at all) in small doses, and if someone as brilliant as Joss or Marti or Doug Petrie were creating new characters, or focusing on existing characters from comics like Frey, or giving the spotlight to supporting characters like Illyria, that would be the most exciting idea with the greatest chance for success imo. If I had my druthers I'd build a series around Illyria, partly because I'm in love with Amy Acker but also because she's a character not explored anywhere near her potential (at least on the show) -- particularly if you feature the Fred character in the narrative. Fray would also make for an amazing (if costly!) show, but there are tons of existing characters or yet-to-exist characters to give the story to. I'd kill for a Darla series, or a Lindsey McDonald (featuring W & H) series, or even a series revolving around The Initiative. It goes without saying that a Faith series would blow them all away. Btw, if anyone wants to know, I absolutely, completely, totally and in all other ways do not want one more single second of screentime or storyline having anything to do with Pylea. http://ew.com/tv/2018/03/13/buffy-the-vampire-slayer-revival-fox/?utm_campaign=entertainmentweekly&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social

Well, I finally placed my order for this -- Hurrah! Also threw in Manhunt by the amazing Alfred Newman for only $5 thanks to LLL's incredibly generous sale. Can't wait to get these... Yavar

More importantly, Joss works well with budget and special effects limitations (to a degree, this second one); anybody who's read any of his continuing seasons in comic form, know this. Also, I don't recommend reading them.

Forgive me if this has already been covered here (I went through all 40 pages cursorily to look for it) but is there anything on the S2 and S3 promos that has not been included in this incredible set?

MV replied about the sales yesterday: Sales are still where they were. Nothing out of this world, but we maintain faith this will be a slow burn MV

That said, if coy comments from the producer of this very set are anything to go by, it does sound like LLL also has an Angel set in the works (hence why he solicited suggestions). Yavar

I really don't think most BUFFY fans are that into the music. Just a fact. B
