The original image is smaller than displayed here, hence it seems a bit blurred.

With the recent news of further potential titles in the Disney Legacy Collection (Robin Hood at least), I've been looking for some alternative artwork for the series, preferably something that is based on the theatrical posters or dvd cover art, rather than the more artsy approach taken by Disney. Anyone done anything like this?

That Blade Runner cover is too cool! I especially like the way you incorporated Vangelis as a sign in the picture. I'll definitely be using this cover. Thanks for sharing!

Nice, thanks.

You should have a look at the movie posters section on Heritage Auctions, they have HUGE scans of virtually every movie poster. Just be sure to look at the past sales as well as they keep everything archived on there.

Also, a touch-up on a personal favorite:

Needs correcting... should be Wimbledon.

Truly a feast for the eyes, this one.

I particularly like the inclusion of a neon sign of Terry Gilliam's "Brazil" logo at the bottom of the Spinner's vertical exhaust...

Even though it's just trailer music, somebody may want this.

Amazing cover for Blade Runner! It really evokes the mood of the film and I was transported as soon as I saw it.

Gee thanks, PhotoBucket. You've changed your 3rd party hosting rules and now all my images are gone from this thread.

Here is an alternate for Carlito's Way by Patrick Doyle, the original cover of which is just the film's logo:

And an alternate “Scarface” style cover:

I'm trying to decide now which one to use.

Both are great, I can't decide either. Probably going with color since I associate the B&W with Scarface, but then again that is probably the whole point.

I loved the back cover booklet art of the new Quartet edition of Papillon, so I made a front cover version for those of like taste:

That is indeed a stunning cover. I was about to ask what version of the score this was and where I could get it before I realized which thread it is I'm in. wink
