MV's quote:

A 4 disc box set of Buffy Music that covers all 7 seasons (sans the musical) ala The X-Files Volume One? Why, that sounds like a great idea to coincide with the show's 20th anniversary in 2017!

Anymore Police Academy's on the horizon.?

There's a horror film called Society. 1989, composed by Phil Davis/Mark Ryder, they also composed Trancers 1/2/3 with Richard Band, what are the chances on Society.

I also vaguely remember it was delayed yet again and there was something about more Police Academy more likely in 2018... sad indeed...

Btw, any info/update re August release date(s)?

I think it comes down to, "When can we afford to take a lose on a release?" We know comedy scores don't sell well, so they probably looking to "budget in" it's release where it hurts the least.

I seriously doubt that. It takes a lot of money to just get a release made -- I don't think any label, even in the remote chance they could afford to, would just sit on the release and wait until an ideal time comes up. That's money they can't make back and profit from and plow into other releases.

As a lover of the 1st scanner film + music. I would like too see both sequels get a score release, the film sequels were thin that had lousy actors, but composer Marty Simon composed good music here. There as good musically as any Nightmare on Elm Street score was.

ok... found this... unless something might change due to Trans 5 arriving this late and perhaps LLL will be still catching up with the old orders to start taking the new ones?

"our August slate should get us back on schedule, starting Tuesday August 1."

How many titles are currently expected to land either on 1st or throughout August?

Dear MV & La-La Land Records!

Is there any chance for Jan Hammer's MIAMI VICE complete/expanded release, with more music than was available on long OOP 2-disc One Way Records relase?
