Today is a beautiful day, I received Peter's package and I must say I am speechless.
Only just a couple of days away from my birthday (11th), the best gift I had sofar. I want to emphasis that this was not only a nice gesture from a collector to a fellow collector but as shown in an earlier post he paid full price for those cd's, without discount.... Incredible!
Peter also included a very nice letter too explaining his passion for soundtracks etc. I don't know what to say, such a great person!

That's what happened to me. I contacted Naxos and asked for either (1) the sale price since the items have not shipped yet, OR (2) cancel the items from my order.

I was told NO to each. Can't have the sale price and also can't cancel.

That's what happened to me. I contacted Naxos and asked for either (1) the sale price since the items have not shipped yet, OR (2) cancel the items from my order.

I was told NO to each. Can't have the sale price and also can't cancel.


Why would you think Naxos would be the one to contact? Varese is the seller, Naxos is just the shipper...Seems like you went to the wrong place, so I would think they rightly told you no.

If I did not want my order shipped, why would I not contact the shipper? And they never said "contact Varese". Seems to me you just want to call someone stupid.

dervish you say you contacted a company prior to it being shipped or processed wanting to cancel your entire order and they said no, you can not cancel your order? I have neverr heard of someone ordering something it not shipped and contacting them and they saying no you are not allowed we will tke your money. I've never had issue with any label if an order hasnt shipped and i needed it cancled they do. now all of a sudden varese tells customers they can never cancel unshipped orders. they now force customers to buy cds against their will. oh bull shi- you have it out for them, move on. peter dmd guy handled this elegantly..

They cannot afford this hobby.

Apparently jedizim hasnt ordered from Varese lately. The Varese store uses a Naxos email addy, as shown in an order I placed with Varese - presumably that's who w-dervish contacted:
