Tractors! Tractors drive me insane on the roads and ALWAYS seem to be in front of me, driving at 10 miles an hour, oblivious to the mounting chain of traffic behind them.
Wow, and I thought this was unique to the rural Southern US! Worse is when the tractor is pulling a large pesticide sprayer and you can smell the contents of it even with your car windows up and the A/C on.
So called sales at the grocery stores. It's a sale if you give them personal information and sign up for their discount card. Or the sale is, buy one get one free but the sale price seems to closely match the regular price of two. Generic brands give half the volume of a major brand in the same size package. Marked down or discontinued items which aren't really all that marked down. I miss the days of real sales and great deals.

This may be one of my TOP PET PEEVES and only people on here will truly understand my gripe, but I am beyond understanding of how a composer can say that their score is "orchestral" or has "orchestra" in it, when it clearly is all electronically synthesized or (horribly) features sampled orchestra. I don't mind it, but, please, don't tell us it's "orchestral" when it's not!

Film producers who put old age make-up on younger actors in an attempt to make them look old. Guy Pearce in Prometheus, for example. I'm sure there are older actors who would love to have a role in these films.

In the case of Prometheus Guy also appeared as himself, younger version of Weyland, but none of those scenes made it into the movie.
Thread starter abandonment. Why would someone begin a topic and then cease to contribute to it once it gets rolling? Particularly when it's an interesting topic?

That's because the attorney is trying to have a white-collar jury somewhat "identify" with the witness/defendant so as to lend credence to his testimony and/or status and not be immediately turned off by his "weird" appearance. We have not yet, if ever, reached the stage where neck tattoos and especially facial tattoos denote a "normal" appearance/personality. First impressions, especially in a courtroom, are important.

Same with rich boys who are dressed up like Richie Cunningham. Looking all cute and innocent in their sweaters. It's theatrics and no way represents the real person.
Our "favorite score from a dead person's movies" threads here. This started a few months ago and it is at a high point recently. If it was a composer I would get it, but not actors and producers etc.

You buy an expanded film score CD and it STILL does not have the one cue you most wanted to hear. Though I'm grateful for what the box set does have, the Concord Indiana Jones set still left out the rope bridge music from Temple of Doom. Arrrrgh!
