As for his lack of screen credit in Payback, maybe simply did it as favor for Gibson and didn't want it overtly announced. Sometimes it can be that simple ... I watched The Internecine Project recently - see thread re: Roy Budd's music - and whilst it is entertaining it is no star vehicle for Mr. Coburn. I finally got to see it also. Very interesting and well made but that ending... SPOILER ALERT: It would have been better if he got away with it and got next to the Prez (shades of THE OMEN!). OR, IF Lee grant killed him. Based on the movie it was said to be visited often by Flint himself. Watch for Harrison Ford in a minor role in Dead Heat on a Merry Go Round. JC a great actor, a class act and on my most missed list of actors in the number one position. Watch his face light up in The Presidents Analyst when asked by William Daniels if he would like a draft beer. A great movie & just so much fun. As one of those "younger folks" (I'm shoving forty), I agree! except I had to run to my TV set. What’s also worth noting per that scene is how director Daniel Mann allowed it to organically flow WITHOUT A ZILLION HYPER-ACTIVE CUTS getting in the way, which allowed respectful room for Mr. Goldsmith’s thrilling contribution with both time and space to pay it dynamic justice. Then came his second thoroughly enjoyable turn - With e'en more fabulous Goldsmith gold waiting to be ignited Man, it’s must really be ruff havin’ to deal with those sorts of situations.
