^ Nah, I think Wanker's done with the Buffyverse. Yes, he did some amazing cues for season 5 and 6. But, like, 80% of season 6 is just reused stuff from season 5. And he had no themes for any of the characters at all :O Seems like he just sent in a bunch of emotional themes, fighting themes and comedic themes without having seen the scenes and then the sound guy had to try to edit them to fit with the action in the scenes. At least that's how it seems to me. lol! I wonder how he felt when Joss (or whoever) came to him and like: "Sooo, the hundred episode is coming! Season finale! Maybe even series finale! Soooo, here's the thing....yeah, we're gonna bring back Chris Beck for this special episode. No offense, righty?" If not Christophe Beck or Robert Duncan, I certainly wouldn't mind Blake Neely or Abel Korzeniowski.

I think Beck may have already been under contract for the season five finale before Wanker was hired to do all of season five. And while I do think that Wanker did some amazing cues, I have to agree that there was still something missing in the seasons he scored, with Beck every episode he did had so much new memorable stuff in there, with Wanker it was highlight cues that were repeated from time to time, but then it felt like he lost interest in scoring and while I love the Willow helps Buffy cue, it kind of bothers me that it's just a cue that is used again and again, without really being tied to a character.

It means a certain amount was pressed in a first batch and has sold out, so they need to press more. A label might, for random example: Announce a 5,000 unit run of a title, but only initially press 2,000 in one batch.

You're not going to get a second one that soon. It takes time, resources and money. Plus, MV already said a second volume will come out sometime in 2019.

If the deal is signed in advance, probably not (based on passed comments), but it still might get slowed down a lot. But it depends on what Disney has brought; buy one branch of FOX does nothing mean they get everything, as we have seen before.

I thought the latest update on potential box sequels was one of the producers saying that there definitely won't be more in 2018. "Will come out in 2019", how you phrased it, sounds so definite, as if it's already confirmed that it is coming that year. which is five by five with me of course, little miss muffet, but my mind was set to "might happen or might not happen - don't get your hopes up". so am i getting punk'd by you? are you ashton kutcher. (what a dated reference) Regarding the out of stock box set: Wohooo, I'm just happy that the warehouse is empty until the next batch of the limited edition unit is printed, because it at least means that it is selling !!!

Maaaybe if the amount of the next batch is, say, 1500 units, they could order 1500 units of a second volume instead? Theres a lot we don't see on this board. Namely, costs. Costs for the music rights, costs for the copyright, costs for doing business with FOX (I think FOX owns Buffy?), costs for the guy who does the album assembly, costs for the guy writing the liner notes, costs for album production, graphic design, materials, transferring the music from its source (acetate? DAT tape? reel to reel?) to digital, audio clean-up, and so on. Once they have something announced and ready to go, all these costs are paid off and the label needs to make their money back plus profits. Soooooo, no, your idea doesn't work in terms of business ventures. If the first set sells well enough, then they look into a volume 2. The fact that Millennium vol 1 not only sold out but sold out *quickly* meant they knew there was people who'd buy a volume 2 (and people who missed volume 1 got a repressing due to demand). If Buffy sells out, the better the chance of a volume 2. Thats just common sense. But the enthusiasm is appreciated!

I found another Walter Murphy cue to like. Well, some of it anyway. Episode: "Nightmares" Around halfway into the episode where Buffy sees Billy on campus and follows him and finds him sitting alone. The piano guitar part. EDIT: And when Billy comes out of the coma.
