or the "Earth" cue from "Gladiator"...oh wait, that was Klaus Badelt... anyway.

This is not KB.

No? I like it anyway! smile
Who did it?

Ennio Morricone.

You mean Elia Cmiral who inspired Zimmer to use duduk?

Not sure who did "Earth" but this is a list of what KB did:

Thanks facehugger. That's quite a list.

You're welcome.

I feel bad about Mancina, Badelt and Nick Glennie Smith. The "Zimmer" sound is pretty much established by the trio yet Zimmer gets all the credit.

...because Zimmer's "music" always goes down well with the uneducated, who are the target audience for this kind of "entertainment".

Get out of here Yor

Why? Because his opinion and yours differ? Great interpretation of the first amendment.

It's disgusting how the suits concentrate everything on Zimmer because they don't know anything about movies OR music OR music for movies. They're probably right though, box-office-wise, because Zimmer's "music" always goes down well with the uneducated, who are the target audience for this kind of "entertainment". People who are worried whether the costumes of their superheroes exactly match those of the comic strips they're still reading when they're 42. Why carp about something as trivial as a music score?

An all time new low calling other people here uneducated....

No... he's done it before. Along with Yor, facehugger and Onlygood delight in making those snide blanket condemnations of anyone who likes what they don't - hurling the personal insults, and then crying foul and " oh how dare make it a personal attack" when they were the first ones there.

Cretins.

And I won't "wait and see the film" because I won't be seeing it at all.

Well, what the bloody hell are you getting so uptight about it for? If you're not going to actually see the damned thing then what does it matter who's scoring it? Sorry, but I didn't realise I was talking to a fucking dumbass.

Did your mom drop you in a toilet or something, or you're just born with a mouthful of dirty stuff?

And for the record, I don't give a ZImmer's ass about the movie. You, on the other hand, are much more fun.

Yeah because Zimmer actually composed Speed, The Rock and Pirates.

Aw shit. Not again. MORE drums? I was hoping Horner would stay on board.

I'm a big Zimmer fan (and educated!) but this would be disappointing. I am getting a little burned out on the big Z.

Why in the world would Horner (and his agents) let this project go?

Go on, facehugger, have another go at spelling "pretentious". Here's a clue: the letter c doesn't appear anywhere in it. smile

Say what you will about Zimmerman, but when I watched The Amazingly Crappy Spider-Man, all I was thinking was:

Why don't they just get a Zimmer (or his many Mini-MEs) to score this? Would make this crap less pretencious and more straightforward entertaining.

Apparently my wish is granted by the power that be.

Reprise, for my own amusement.

I do hope you are not as miserable in real life as you appear on this board, cause all I see you do on this board is moan and complain how terrible everything is. But hey, if that rocks your boat...

Nothing rocks my boat more than seeing someone like you. Saves me the trouble visiting the local zoo for entertainment.

Ah, little facehugger acting all tough on the internet. You are a funny guy, facehugger big grin

Yor continues his immense interest for everything about Zimmer. Hilarious.
