As someone who doesn't care about dating or romance, I'm enjoying LOVE more than I'd thought. I guess it's all about the quirky characters than the actual romance.
Finished LOVE. I liked it, and will be tuning in when the third season arrives.
I couldn't find MARRIED anywhere, so moving on to the next -- MASTERS OF NONE.
(for the record, all suggested shows that are earlier in the alphabet than where I'm currently at, have been added to the list, and will be explored once I've gone through the whole list).
OK, finished the two seasons of MASTER OF NONE. It was a sluggish affair at first, especially because I'm no big fan of Aziz Ansari -- there's something about his quirky character that makes it difficult for me to root for him (he was my least favourite part of PARKS & RECREATION, a show I really, really liked). But I've come to appreciate the cinematic look, the references to 'arthouse' films and other things. So I'll probably return to it when the third season premieres.
OK, on to the next on the list, which appears to be NEW GIRL. It's apparently 6 seasons' worth, so I really have to like it to stick with it for that duration. We'll see.

"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" "$chitt's Creek"
and I miss "Happy Endings"
I've added SHIT CREEK to the list. Thanks for that! I do not care for IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA or HAPPY ENDINGS, I'm afraid (they're both in the list).
Sorry to disappoint you, DeputyRipley, but after having tried the first 7 episodes of NEW GIRL, I'm gonna call it quits. It's not bad or anything, but it's a bit too frenetic for my taste (it "tries" a bit too hard). Perhaps I'll revisit it later on; it's readily available on Netflix.

Guess the next on the list is NOT GOING OUT.
Ha, you'll be going from very American to VERY English.
I did give New Girl a try, but it's what you said, plus I find Zooey Deschanel really annoying.

While I do like my share of American sit-coms, there's no denying that I feel a closer cultural kinship to British comedy. We're basically 'neighbours', after all. So I'm rather curious about this. I see that the guy from WOULD I LIE TO YOU? is in it.

Well, I did not care for NOT GOING OUT at all. It felt very "flat" (in both performance and comedy), and I've never cared for that WOULD I LIE TO YOU? guy (I much prefer the host or the other, more "nerdy" guy).
On to PEEP SHOW (which, incidentally, stars that other, nerdy WOULD I LIE TO YOU guy!).
Only thing worth watching is Catherine O'Hara do a variation on her "lolA Henderson" persona from SCTV> Awful, unlikable characters , predictable;e storyline. A depressing show
I've had no particular inclination towards returning to PEEP SHOW after the first couple of episodes (even though I appreciate the "experiment" of a continous POV camera), so I think that pretty much lost its steam.
silicon valley s.4 is the funniest yet! check it out! brm
Oh, you can bet I'm up-to-date on that show. Love it!
spoke too son!
the last couple of eps were just awful. A carbon copy of all the previous season formulas: _ PIEeD PIEPER is on the verge of success when someone screws them - Pied Piper is on the verge of going out of business when a 'miracle' saves them
enuf already!
one good thing: it seems as they might have finally gotten rid of the insufferable Ehrlich/TJ Miller by writing him out of the show. One can dream
This is very popular at the moment in the UK, 'Count Arthur Strong'. One feature is Steve Delaney's uncanny ability to transform himself into a geriatric:
From Graham Linehan, writer of Father Ted, and Delaney himself, based on an award-winning radio show.
I've never had any particular inclination towards returning to PEEP SHOW since I saw the first episode several weeks ago. Again, the 'POV camera' thing grew weary fast, even if I appreciate the comedy on display. So I'm trying to move on to the next suggestion on the list, RED OAKS.
