The match will be played at the Death Star Ethiad, so good luck.

It's at STAMPford Bridge, Phelpsie. Liverpool might have Sturridge back tomorrow, so those guys with the bubbles machine 'ave no chancewink

Liverpool being linked with a move for Burnley's Danny Ings. That's a bit like wanting to buy something at Marks & Spencer but having to settle for Poundland...

Is danny ings the new rickie lambert?
Promisin england striker doin wel in small pond, goes to liverpool and career and confidence evaporates mysteriously before our eyes.
Sturridge or not, Looking at way liverpool played against chelsea, there is only gona be 1 winner and it aint hammers.
Best hope we have is liverpool carry on missin chances mostly and we mug them with an Andy Carroll equaliser.
If not, 3-0 liverpool.

A Bundesliga sidebar:

VFL Wolfsburg 4 Bayern Munich 1

Bayern's first meaningful league loss in over two years comes to second-place Wolfsburg, and it wasn't pretty if one is a fan of the former. Ouch! Four brilliant goals from VFL, though.

Liverpool 2 West Ham 0

Thomas and Kev's boys stick it to Bill's boys. Sterling and Sturridge (hey, I remember him!) score the goals.

Down in the English Championship:

Huddersfield 1 Leeds United 2

Leeds up to 19th.

Very funny Thomas (and sadly true!). Good to see Ibe given a late run-out too.
He impressed pre-season then got farmed out to Derby cos we got Balotelli and Lambert!!!
Hopefully Studge can fire us into the Top 4 in the remainder of the season, in the battle with Arse, ManUre, Soton and Totts.

Arsenal smash Aston Villa 5-0 and Southampton fall to Swansea 0-1. I don't feel passionate enough to give the Who Dares Wins Award to Swansea so no award this week. Boo hoo hoo.

Was it really 5? That game was 1-0 for about 3 days and i got bored.
I missed four goals??!
And sthampton game was 0-0 for yonks.
I need a bit of fire and goals to keep me glued.
Otherwise i play the Gbu notes on the remote and find something more compelling.

Transfer Deadline Day!! How exciting! Expect to see this at some stage on your TV. Old 'arry doing some Del Boy style wheelin' and dealin' out the car window. Proper football geezer him. Get in!

I still had cable TV when ol' Harry was wheeling and/or dealing from the seat of his car! He seemed so charming and Tottenham were climbing up the table--and then it all died when Redknapp couldn't handle the pressure of whether or not he was going to take the England job. Memories are made of this...

I don't think o' Harry can save 'em. QPR only finished fourth in the Championship last year, & maybe they're just a good Championship side & can't cut it the Premier League. They need a dodgy billionaire owner.

You boys know Harry's track record best, so maybe this article will get the old opinions flaring again:

The FA Cup with Portsmouth is his only trophy? He's probably milked that one success into near-godhood. wink

Oh thank god - an article about 'arry that I can agree with. But I don't suppose he gives a monkey's what I or anyone else thinks of him - he can just clear off with his millions to his house on Sandbanks ("the fourth highest land value in the world" "Britain's Palm Beach") and raise two fingers to us all.

Backs are funny things, who knows when they will repair. I had back injury at it lasted 8 weeks.

The transfer window hath closed in England. There was some talk that West Ham wanted to sign Emmanuel Adebayor from Tottenham, but the move was blocked by Tot's chairman.
