My thanks to FarTraveler for those SUPERMAN covers. I printed them to make a custom double jewel case so I could isolate the first film score from the rest of the Blue Box set. I'm sure I'll be using some more of these great covers. Keep 'em coming guys!

Thanks also to Marlene for the BEN-HUR cover. Looks great.

my avatar is custom art- albeit slightly cropped- I designed for Brian Keane's personal
3cd edition of NEW YORK - A DOCUMENTARY FILM.
He liked it so much he asked for the "master" copy!

Oh, I love this score. But no cover made so far is as beautiful, wonderful and slightly disturbing as the movie is. Again, I had to work with inferior sources. I don´t know why they wouldn´t create something in high resolution. Only exception is the second one - this was pristine. The first one was tweaked to death wink. Experts will note that the moon looks strange. Of course it´s too big but that was the theme on these pictures. I replaced, cloned and expanded a lot of parts in there and in the sky on the right because the picture wasn´t high enough. I wanted to keep much of sky around the mountain so I had to use other posters in order to integrate them into the upper part.

Both are examples of why white fonts on light or nervous background seldom work: they are not easy to read. But I wanted something different... the one below inspired by the movies' title sequence.

... and again...

I always thought that the Varèse cover for the deluxe edition was nice albeit a bit boring and uninspired. And there was this one poster for The Matrix which I always like so I made a cover out of it. You wouldn´t know... people always speak about the "green tint" for the matrix. But as I found out it´s not only green, no, this tint incorporates a considerable portion yellow. Second version with a bit digital rain...

Yeah, the token. Something a bit simpler for "Inception". Although I found the last scene for this pretentious action movie so stupid... a bunch of bollocks really. But it looks nice and that´s why it´s here.

During this scene the music could really show off with loud, cheap blasts of brass (real or artificial?). Don´t get me wrong, I like the score. But it´s not brilliant as some people will say. But the visual concept is quite good.

Until I saw this thread it never occured to me to do something about the album cover artwork I didn't like. Now I can't stop.

A few Battle: LA ideas, as I'm not overly fond of the art chosen for the official cover.

Three covers for Minority Report, including a remake of the original (I've never seen a decent image online). The third one is largely the 3D work of Thom Schillinger at http://3dconceptualdesigner.blogspot.com/2011/02/behind-art-3d-modeled-crests-and-badges.html

High-res found here in the appropriate folder:

A few Dances With Wolves covers.

One of them is based on the Blu-ray slip cover, and isn't as high a resolution (a measly 644x644) as I would prefer--I just couldn't find better source material. Still, it came out quite well.

The picture of the guy and the girl at the bottom reminded me of Devoe and Kelly from the cover of the Peacemaker. Thought it was kinda funny.
