Shame for liverpool, going 1 up.

Did you see Brenda going on about the injustices in that match? Seems to ignore the fact that Squirtle (to use the Pokémon spelling) appeared to be nailed to Kompany whenever they were both in the Liverpool penalty area. Refs will have to start giving pens for that sooner or later. Gotta love footie!

And we drop out of the play offs after a very disappointing run of two draws and a loss over Christmas. Still well placed, but it's looking like any two from six to join the nailed on top four.

Championship has always been that way tg, everyone beats everyone else, and any team can put a run together and go from tenth to fourth in 3 weeks! Suppose its exciting but its a better's hell!

Hope you chaps all had a nice Christmas and New Yearsmile

Disappointed with Liverpool's results over the period against Citeh and Chelski, but not totally unexpected. Good they got the win over Hull, I expect the 'battle' for Top 4 to go to the end.

Looks gloomy for The Hammers Bill, but I hear some bookies have suspended betting on Fat Sam being the next to get the chop.

And good luck to that baby faced chap, going to work with Dr. No in Cardiff...

Well, my boys gave me my usual birthday present - an early exit from the FA Cup. My expectations weren't high for a cup run, but Rochdale?!

However, I was cheered up immeasurably by Man U's result... Happy birthday to me!

"However, I was cheered up immeasurably by Man U's result..."
---------------------------------------------
The best thing about it is it isn't even a shock anymore. At home, they're so vulnerable now that teams are going there knowing it ain't gonna be fixed against them with Purple Nose and the scared Refs brigade. I've never seen a 'fortress' shatter so quickly.
Bummer for Leeds and The Hammers, but I guess you don't have any distractions now in your pursuits (Promotion/the play-offs and Prem Survival).
We stuttered but stumbled through (the fringe players aren't as good as they think they are) but I hope the FA Cup doesn't derail our main goal of cracking that top tier again.

Happy Birthday TG smile

Happy birthday tall leeds person.

Allardyce gets club backing. Which means they swallow the injuries bad luck excuse.

We are so bad we will be lucky to win another game all season.

Knew it would be big score.
Even by our all time worst ever standards, we were utter wank. Heads down, no one wanted to know, marking poor, closing down barely token. Words fail me.
Two players in transfer window? We need 12!

Fat Sam Allarderci running out of excuses. When he is sacked, I'm sure he won't be short of offers...

As i have said previously, have seen this before. When we get the wrong mix and a poor squad we are truly awful.
Theyre banking on carroll and new players but it wont be enough.
Going down. Stone banker!!

Oh Bill. It's not even funny any more. Unlike with Man U.

Someone told me that Big Sam is the 13th highest-paid manager in the world. Is this true, or was it just to set up the punchline "he isn't even the 13th best manager in London"?
