I can't imagine a single soul putting out $800 dollars for the Blue Box. But this has me wondering, will WOK, and SFS go next? Crazy thought!

I have a feeling this Blue Box isn't going to sell as high as some may think on the secondary market. I'm sure some think they will make a huge profit. Some profit for sure but not huge. Maybe it's too early to tell yet.

It all depends on whether or not the score for the first film is given a separate release (with the sound quality of the FSM set). I know that the first score was the priority for me when I got the Blue Box years ago, and the remaining scores were just a "bonus". If it is, the Blue Box will only retain collectable status for fans who want every last note of the Christopher Reeve scores and/or the book.

does anyone know if there are any new booklets left for the blue box? I never had my first edition one replaced.

Peter Kelly over at Moviemusic just announced on facebook that the store's last copies of King Kong 2-CD, Wild Bunch and Under Fire have just come in and are available. I just ordered King Kong from there an hour ago and the order went through fine. Get 'em while they last!

My SAE orders from May 25 and May 27 still haven't shipped. All items were in stock FSM titles. Should I worry? Anyone else in a similar boat? I imagine they may still be swamped/backlogged with orders.

My order was placed on 31st May and shipped on the 3rd June. Just got confirmation it was delivered today.

I placed an order on the 29th with soundtracks I thought would be a risky case to not order them now. "The swimmer" would be on my next order but now it's too late. Would SAE still have a copy available from FSM; you know one of those copies that is there just in case?
Other sellers may have the soundtrack but since I'm ordering from SAE, it would be easiest and cheapest to get it from them.

Hmm...seems they are sitting on my orders for some reason. One contains The Wild Bunch and others, the other contains King Kong and others. I wonder if they oversold them and are waiting for the un-announced re-pressing? hmm...

Well, I've heard that there will be a King Kong Repress of at least 1000 more...

I signed up for an email notification for the Wild Bunch. Noticed an "in stock" email in my inbox with a time stamp that said it was sent 40 minutes ago. I opened it up, clicked the link, clicked add to cart... and it was already gone.

Damn it! Kong is already gone as well. Really wanted that score and put off buying it for way too long. Didn't notice it was going OOP until it was too late.

Well then, some lucky bastard on eBay will eventually get up to 50 bucks for it when I have that kind of cash to get it.

I would have bought KING KONG deluxe if money were no object, but I have the old FSM edition and played it last night for consolation. You can't have everything.

Oh well, at least the F.S.M. website didn't remove "The Wild Bunch" online notes.

I missed out on both The Wild Bunch and The Superman Box, But I not too disappointed by it, you can't buy everything you want at the same time (unless you have a money tree at the bottom of the garden).

Hopefully the Superman Scores will be re-released individually at some point, I think there is a 2 cd representation of the first movie score available, although I don't know what the sound quality is like and whether or not it is complete.

Ref: the comment above that someone has heard there'll be another batch of KING KONG ...

I'd love for that to happen (I've got one, but I know a lot of people missed it), but I can't help thinking Lukas Kendall or SAE would have posted that here if it was true. Where did you hear it from?

If you're thinking of the Rhino 2CD, my opinion is that it's okay, but it's blown completely out of the water by the FSM version. I think it's nearly complete but if memory serves it's missing things. Others here can tell you with greater clarity.

Ya the FSM version of Superman: The Movie definitely puts the Rhino edition to shame because of the remastering alone.

I would love to own the FSM Superman: The Movie separately. The other scores I don't think I'd really listen to again. I did once when I had the FSM set but that was it.

I just can't believe that the FSM remastered cd's of Superman or King Kong will never again be made available.

You're not the first poster to say this so i just wanted to post a different opinion and express my feelings about the Courage's score which is fantastic. And i think it deserves a "single" chance for the people who could not afford the set.
