This is the kind of thing (Lemonboy and Limegirl--brilliant. The Citrus Twins?) that only exists as a genius's first thought upon waking up in the morning.

Well THIS came as a surprise! I hope there will be follow ups in the Fivehouse Madness thread, as I am of course fascinated that in this day and age, the announcement for this film truly broke here, in this thread, and not elsewhere first.

What I *don't* look forward to is the hardline fiftysomething-year-old naysayers bitterly tearing the new film apart (and its accompanying Brian Tyler score...I joke, right?)

You are a fan of comic books right?

Don't take what Max said so literally my friend. I'm sure he's already planning many new incarnations of Fivehouse to come. I'm thrilled that Michael Lonsdale was pulled back in. Of course once again they offered him a bargeload of cash so how could he refuse to return to his iconic role? Now if we can finally get that long delayed Fivehouse Brown Box set released. Imagine waiting all this time and then ordering it from BSX? The only thing you'd find in your mailbox after another extended delay would be bills and junk mail flyers from AARP. big grin

I may have been known to (absentmindedly) flip through a comic in my lifetime. wink

I haven't been this excited about a film franchise release since STAR TREK VI.

And to paraphrase dialogue from that film, "Fivehouse 2016 has restored my childhood faith."

Press release is late on the Fivehouse thread. It is unusual, but since DISNEY acquired the rights to the films (except for WHO WEEPS FOR ALAN FIVEHOUSE, which remains with FOX because DISNEY didn't want it).

But this is right up your alley, as there is a good rumor that Alan Fivehouse may join up with Marvel's AVENGERS, if this new FIVEHOUSE FIVE movie does well.

Imagine Lonsdale's Fivehouse working alongside Captain America, Falcon, War Machine, Scarlet-Witch, Black Widow, and Ant-Man? I can hardly contain myself.

Marvel, Star Wars, Alan Fivehouse. It makes total sense. smile

Very.

LOL! I go and see one super-hero movie amid my usual Woody Allen movie fixation and suddenly I'm a cosplaying Scarlet Witch! Funny stuff, Max.

Oh, and I'd buy tickets to a Fivehouse-Avengers movie faster than a gullible Millennial snaps up the latest garbage Zimmer release. wink
