The ending of "Kill the Moon" was probably one of the most amazingly dramatic moments I've ever seen on DW. Just one episode later they crap it all away. frown

The following episode made me giggle as it reminded me so much of an anime called Galaxy Express 999!

I do like this Doctor. Not my favorite, but he's different which is refreshing.

It's been an interesting series thus far, though I'm not sure I like it or not. Capaldi is doing a great job though I dislike his doctor, far too disconnected and rude for my tastes.

The path Clara has been taking is very interesting, particularly these last three episodes where she really has a taste of what it's like to be the Doctor. I would _love_ for them to take her past where we are now, to a point where she actually becomes the female Master, but that's probably unlikely. I think the fall of someone we love so much, who thinks she's doing the best for people but in reality others perceive it as evil. (Something hinted at the end of the episode by the Doc's retort to Clara saying about doing good)

Just caught "In the Forest of the Night"...not one of the better episodes, but credit where credit is due - Murray Gold's score is just wonderful.

I haven't enjoyed a season this much in a long time. I love Capaldi.

I'm enjoying the new Doctor and I think he is really getting into his character now. Nothing too deep going on, just some light sci fi/fantasy entertainment. A nice distraction.

So we were right, Missy was the Master and that kiss was delightful *chuckles*. They're choice of actress for Missy was perfect, she is just so deliciously devilish. I didn't see the stuff with Danny coming (well I did once I realised he was about to step on the road but...). I think it's in keeping that the Doc would stand by Clara despite the betrayal as he says himself.

I loved the "you have iPads in the afterlife" "We have Steve Jobs" quip.

Really looking forward to next weeks ep and. I hope to hell they keep Missy around, she makes a great foil for the Doc.

BBC Worldwide has confirmed that material in the Doctor Who episode 'Dark Water' has seen the series 8 DVD and Blu-ray set reclassified by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).

As a result, the set will now be released on Monday, November 24 - one week later than planned.

A BBC Worldwide spokesperson told Digital Spy: "On Friday, October 31, the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) classified episode 11 - 'Dark Water' - with a '12' rating.

"This necessitated a reprint of the DVD cover so that the correct rating could be reflected, thereby delaying the on-sale date by one week."

The BBC previously defended 'Dark Water' after confirming that it had "received complaints from some viewers who were unhappy with a storyline about death and cremation".

However, the '12' rating for the series 8 set is in line with previous Doctor Who home media releases.

The first, second, fourth, sixth and seventh series received the same classification from the BBFC, with only the sci-fi drama's third and fifth runs being rated 'PG'.

Doctor Who's eighth series draws to a close on BBC One this Saturday (November 8) at 8pm, with the hour-long 'Death in Heaven'.

Largely yes, though thoroughly depressing. I hate using Spoiler tags as they are a pig to deal with if your on a Tablet, that said i was very sad to see Osgood die and have never had a chance to travel with the Doctor. For me she is the companion I've wanted him to have but will never get. She's smart, pretty but not a stunner/sexy, charming, nerdy and sciencey). I do not think Missy is dead. She was far too awesome to be killed so easily. I'm positive that she just teleported away. The ending between the Doc and Clara was just sad and I'm curious as heck to see how they handle the Xmas episode

I agree great series final! Everyone had their acting chops on. Wonderful performance all around. Missy is right now my favorite fictional villain. Deliciously evil. I loved what the Doctor told Clara then the flashback to what he really discovered in his search. Excellent stuff!

BTW, anyone get the Thunderbirds-Captain Scarlet joke?
