This thriller has a very good score from ROBERT FOLK. Any comments? Is it available anywhere ?

Oh MAN I've wanted this score for years, along with Folk's THE SLAYER from the following year it's a superb example of the muscular, thematic, sweeping 80's sound even low budget horror films once had.

The end title is heartbreakingly beautiful - for some reason it reminds me profoundly of my childhood even though I only discovered this score a few years back - and there are some gorgeous "travelogue" cues here and there amidst violently percussive action cues, plus that tragic title theme that pops up here and there. Performed by the trusty old National Philharmonic Orchestra of London, to boot.

The thematic writing reminds me of John Barry from around this time a little bit. Folk sure had some symphonic chops in the day!

I'd love a release of this and THE SLAYER, as well as a complete version of his third score, the stunning THE PLANETS.

I've written to folk several times inquiring about these titles and never heard back, even though he has answered other correspondences in the past regarding other matters. Shame.

The whole film can be seen here, in kinda dreadful quality sadly:
