I really love Princess and the Pea. I mentioned it a few years ago but few seemed impressed.

I remember this movie. My children were older but we took their younger cousins and I actually do remember some of the music, in particular a track entitled "Sword Play". Wonderful addition to the list solium. Thank you for the memory.

Here´s another one of my most played soundtracks of the 2000s, ethereal, sad, beautiful music; very serene listening experience. It´s Anne Dudley´s Tristan & Isolde from 2006, a refreshing take on the subject at hand, avoiding all the bombast and most of the cliches usually found in this genre. Here´s few haunting cues for those unfamiliar of this lovely score:

Wow! Thanks Kari. I've just realised I have the Tristan & Isolde CD by Anne Dudley but have never actually played it. It was another £1 buy in a music exchange shop in Liverpool, where I hoovered up a plethora of soundtrack CD's I'd never heard (Mummy 3, GI Joe, the new Dr Who series 1-5 amongst many others).
I shall move it up my 'TO PLAY' list smile

You´re welcome, Kev. And while you´re at it, please move those Murray Gold CDs to your play list as well, you won´t regret it. smile

You may also enjoy this remarkable score, a true unheralded gem by French composer Serge Franklin.

Again we are getting a very wide variety of stuff listed here, not all "little" in scope or notoriety.

I'll throw out CAREFUL, HE MIGHT HEAR YOU by Ray Cook on the Varese CD Club label.
