This is one of those legendary teasers that really are spectacularly raising interest without bombarding one with details. And, really, this is the kind of Hans-music I love.

The file footage of Walter Cronkite's reaction regarding the Moon landing is so over used nowadays. True. But it remains what it is: a powerful reminder of a very important moment in time. And I´m not even American and still feel uplifted by Cronkite´s reaction. Because it´s an universal human reaction.

I like the Glass vibe the music has to it. Very emotive. Well made teaser IMO.

The Zimmer track isn't bad- sounds very Glassian minimalist but I prefer Marionelli's music version as it's much more dramatic. And that cue (Evey Reborn) is one of the best cues written in he last 20 years.

After the Diminishing Dark Knights and Inception (which left me cold), I figure me and Nolan aren't really suited. The PORTENTOUS/GLOOMY feeling and nature of his films have grown a bit stale to me too. Lighten up bro, inject some fun (just a little). Kubrick was another who lost any sense of fun in his films and ended up being intolerable to me. I've liked all of his films in some capacity, loved others, but aside from the Inception comment, I am on your side with this. The wonder is missing.

I think you are right Kev, the last Batman picture left me cold too, for all the bluster, it just was not that good. It is obvious that Nolan is influenced by Kubrick, I think his personal style with the suit is derived from Kubrick. I admired some Kubrick pictures, he was very talented, but in some ways a clinician more than an artist, a precision to his work, not always lively though. Nolan works often come off like well made contraptions that you look at once or twice and admire. But many of them just are not lively. Zimmer has made it worse, at the request of the director I am sure, with the muddy and moody layers of bass and lack of melody.
