BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN---Joaquin Phoenix is being sought by Warner Bros. for an undisclosed starring role that is widely speculated to be Lex Luthor. Also, Chris Terrio (ARGO) will rewrite David Goyer's script.

THE EXPENDABELLES---Zoe Bell (GRINDHOUSE) said she's in talks to co-star in the all-female spin-off movie, "I've been in and I've met. Yes, I've had meetings with people, but they haven't got a director attached yet so that's the next thing. I would obviously love to be involved in it."

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE---director Bryan Singer said the three writers for the movie are Simon Kinberg (X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST) and the duo of Mike Dougherty and Dan Harris (X2: X-MEN UNITED).

GO LIKE HELL---Brad Pitt may co-star with Tom Cruise in this racing movie based on the book GO LIKE HELL: FORD, FERRARI AND THE BATTLE FOR SPEED AND GLORY AT LE MANS.

POX AMERICANA---movie underway set in the 1850s New Mexico Territory in which the President of the United States sends an Army officer and an Indian scout on a mission to assassinate the leader of the Navajo nation. Jean-Francois Richet (MESRINE) is the director. The script is by John Frank Hughes (BAND OF BROTHERS, 24).

PAN---Hugh Jackman is in negotiations to play villain Blackbeard the Pirate in the movie about the early days of Peter Pan.

SHERLOCK---showrunner Steven Moffat commented on a possible movie based on the tv series, "I don’t know, there would have to be a significant reason why you’d do it.
Films, for some reason, take much longer to make so you would be reducing the amount of SHERLOCK you’re getting. If there was a really good reason to say why this story needs to be told in that way, then yes. Otherwise, I don’t think there’s anything about cinema that outranks television these days, and I don’t think anyone thinks that way."

ANT-MAN---Paul Rudd is in negotiations to star as Ant-Man in the Marvel Studios movie.

WARCRAFT---Daniel Wu and Clancy Brown will co-star with Collin Farrell, Paula Patton and Ben Foster in this movie based on the video game.

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3---Ricky Gervais is returning as Dr. McPhee for the sequel which is set in London.

If I were making a list of people I'd like to see come back for the third movie in this series, he would never be on it. Amy Adams or the Einstein bobbleheads ("And that's the way, aha aha, we like it!"), yes. Him, not in a million years.
