I hope its true, that's a terrific moody horror by the vastly underrated Einhorn.

Howlin Wolf also lists Perry Botkin's SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT for 2014.

Well, certainly a surprise; it was just a year ago when a member posted that they contacted the composer, but he said the masters were missing. Short search (comparatively speaking)!

Oh......my.....god....!

I actually reached out to Einhorn years ago about the possibility of a score release and he mentioned having the tapes tucked away somewhere.

Can't believe this is actually happening!!!!!

Awesome!

Wow, what a great surprise!

I contacted Richard about two years ago and at that time there were no plans to release the score because they couldn't seem to find the masters. Says Richard: "They may be somewhere in my archives, but I suspect they are lost for good, and probably unplayable even if we did find them."

Richard sent me a long and very interesting email about the making of this soundtrack.

This is excellent news! But whatever happened to The Boogeyman? Wasn't Howlin' Wolf supposed to release it this year?

The Boogeyman soundtrack has apparently been postponed to early 2014 for some
reason. I really look forward to this one!

Never ever managed to see this film much less hear the score. Bur with all the wraps the score gets around here ill definitley give it a try.
Great cover by the way.

Here is a suite I made:

If the rest of the score is anything compared to that suite, I will not be buying that watermelon.

"Attack of the Beast Creatures" is better.

It's not for everyone.

I really like 70's, analogue brooding scores like this. Never really thought anyone would release it. It's a holy grail I had given up on! Looking very forward to this.

We need Einhorn's THE PROWLER, please.

I, too, am really looking forward to this release (as well as Boogeyman). Howlin' Wolf is tapping into my obscure grails like no other.

This is awesome news, and for anyone listening, I would be thrilled with anything at all by Einhorn, old or new. Hugely talented fellow there.

Any new Einhorn on CD is good news for me, too -- I'm a huge fan. I believe THE PROWLER is a possibility, but I seem to recall there were issues with finding usable elements. Please do not quote me on that, though. (Wall, feel free to whop me upside the head if I've got it wrong.)

THE BOOGEY MAN will be out... eventually... some day. Work is being done on the master to make sure it's as good as it possibly can be. Trust me, it'll be worth the wait. I shall say no more. smile
