And what a wonderful re-recording it is.

A hearty "well done" to all those involved in this epic production.

Got home to find this on the mat. Ripping it as I type - will give it a listen tonight.

Looks wonderful though.

Do Tadlow offer any larger artwork on their site, can't seem to find it. Need large art for iTunes for streaming to media centre/TV. Best I can find is 488x480 from Intrada.

Yeah, it'd be great if Tadlow could put full size artwork up on their website for each Tadlow title... (or if Tadlow-produced, the Tadlow cover)

Can anyone who's listened through this set confirm two things in terms of completeness?

1. The alternate Jadwiga Relived cue as on the earliest issue of the LP (though hopefully if anyone reissues the QBVII album recording they'll put that on as a bonus track).

2. The bumper music Jeff Bond brought up in the other thread. I'm thinking if Mr. Purvis reconstructed by ear from a DVD copy (as opposed to having any written elements to start with) then this would be left off because I think they understandably edited them out for the DVD release...

Makes sense...maybe it could be included as a brief but cool secret hidden bonus track on your next Jerry Goldsmith re-recording project...

My copy also arrived, I have to say it sounds beautiful.
Between this & The Salamander , they have done Jerry Goldsmith proud.
One of my favourite releases this year, and quite probably THE best release done ...yet by James Fitzpatrick and congrats also to Nic Raine !

Apparently, so Frank De Wald tells me...the bumper music was contained within the score and is on CD 2 of new recording....

As long as it is for iTunes libraries, I don't mind you using images from my website:
http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/soundtrack%20cds.htm

Direct links to the QB VII artwork, both versions:
http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/Soundtracks/images/43767f.jpg

http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/Soundtracks/images/OtherImages/Jerry%20Goldsmith%20-%20QB%20VII%20-%20Tadlow-inner.jpg

Most covers are 700px, but I still have about 80 cd's to scan in my collection, so some artwork is still very low res.

It was mentioned that the original reels to QBVII are indeed lost...:-(

This new re-recording looks like a winner - I'm looking forward to
getting my copy...:-)
