'Anybody remember this series? It was shown in the UK childrens' hour slot back in the 1960s, and very popular. This was the precursor to the Flying Circus, and they're all in it:




It's on DVD.

Probably one of the first shows not to patronise the kids. Note the Bonzo Dog Doodah Band, who were Vivian Stanchall's group.

Yes, Neil Innes was there.

Stanchall wrote the fantastic epic poem satire, 'Sir Henry at Rawlinson's End' which was used on side 2 of one of the Bonzo albums, and became one of the funniest films of all time with Trevor Howard.

That clip has one of my favourite film lines..."generally speaking, once I've eaten something I never want to see it again".
