Unfortunately Barry's tapes for Journey To The Far Side Of The Sun were incomplete. From memory (I'm going back around 10 years now) the opening Eurosec cue is missing, and some of the cues from around the 25 to 35 min mark in the movie (ie Herbert Lom being shot, the astronauts ejecting over Portugal), but I'm sure they must still exist somewhere.

The entire score from Thunderbird 6 does exist in 3/4 multi-track, from which a stereo version could be made.

Hi Chris Good to know you're still around on the board. How is Ready When You Are JB holding up? Hope you are doing well.
Stan

Hi Stan,
Ready When You Are JB is holding up well thank you, and so am I. sixty one years and counting, where does the time go to.

Just noticed MV's comment, I wonder if La La Land have something in the pipeline?
I'd love a release of Thunderbirds are Go and Thunderbird Six, possibly on a 2 cd set, Barry Gray was on top of his game when he scored these two films, wonderful stuff.

A release would be appreciated before I get too many more years behind me.

Hi Chris,
Yes, isn't that an interesting comment from MV. I agree, it would be nice to get a proper release of both scores (I think Thunderbird 6 was a very ltd. release in 2004, not 2002 as I originally said.) before we get too much older. That said, my kids do enjoy Thunderbirds and the music, too. I wonder where they get that from? Of course, my son also likes Star Wars.
I have to admit that I did make a CD of the TAG score when I ripped audio from the DVD. A friend also found a ltd release BG compilation by Carlton, from which he did a download of the TAG main title and a section of the martian score. Interestingly, I have never been able to find any further evidence of that release.
Anyway, suffice to say that something professional over something home made will definitely be welcomed here. I wonder if this will be similar to the Blue Max, where the blu ray is announced and then the score(s) follow?
Good to hear from you.
Cheers,
Stan

I have two volumes of music on CD - forget the titles and labels. I also have a "Best Of" CD that includes material from those two plus some stuff not included on them. I like the loungey stuff best.
