I saw THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY (1980) about 25 years ago on cable, and finally re-watched it on DVD last month. The film's score is credited to John Boshoff. Varese Sarabande issued a soundtrack LP when the film was released in the U.S. in 1984, with Boshoff's name on the cover.
I don't know what tracks were on that LP, but Soundtrack Collector lists a 1996 French CD that has 10 tracks and runs 25 minutes. Oddly, four of those tracks (13 minutes) are attributed to another composer, listed only as J. Trombey. Here is one of the tracks supposedly by Boshoff:
This is one of my alltime favourite comedies (although I prefer the second one even more!). I think Charles Fox did the sequel(?) -- has a great opening theme, as far as I remember, but can't remember much else.
