Attached you will find my amateur assessment of the recent release of the Transformers: The Movie score by Vince DiCola (Intrada/Sony). My apologies for not having a website to host a PDF of the file or presenting this as an HTML; at the moment, I only have access an image storage site.

This assessment uses the 2001 BotCon exclusive Lighting Their Darkest Hour as the standard for track ordering; the Original Soundtrack (1987 cassette & album /1992 CD) is omitted in favor of the 20th Anniversary Soundtrack (2006) due to obvious overlap.

For the Intrada/Sony score:

* Several tracks are combined; some are abridged and/or overlap with one another.

-EDIT- * The only missing track is Transformers: The Movie - Main Title (Alternate) by Stan Bush & Vince DiCola - Available on the 1997 BotCon exclusive 'Til All Are One and the 2006 20th Anniversary Soundtrack.

* However, it _does_ include the Legacy demo track absent from the Lighting Their Darkest Hour CD.

(The image below saves larger than presented here)

tl:dr version

Lighting Their Darkest Hour is the one to have, and only misses Legacy, which isn't actually part of the score.

"Witness to a Funeral" is included at the end of the "Optimus vs. Megatron" track on the Intrada release, so it's not missing.

Thanks, Tom Servo! Not sure how I missed that one... I guess you can see why I called it an "amateur" assessment. smile The listing had been corrected above. Thanks again.

And while it's true that either Lighting Their Darkest Hour or a combination of 'Til All Are One and the 20th Anniversary Soundtrack is the way to go for sake of completeness, not everyone will be able to find the rarer CDs at affordable prices; the intention was to provide some guidance for others to see how the different releases matched-up against one another...
