The track Amanda on disc 1 track 2 seems to be missing the sleigh bells on my CD... Is this the same for everyone?? I know that the Amanda track has the sleigh bells on disc 2. It just seems strange to have the "official complete" score on disc one and have it without the sleigh Bells... Or did I somehow get a defective disc??

Either way it's a shame... I like having the longer version on disc one but those sleigh bells were a very important part of that track.

Anyone else notice it on theirs??

I hear them on mine, so it's not a mistake in the set.

Sleigh bells ring. Are you listening?

Listening to both versions of "Amanda". They are there on disc 1 but very faint, on the second disc they are much louder and prominent in the mix. I wouldn't call this an error, but more a creative choice by the mixer.

Thanks to those who gave me an answer.. I went and listened again and yes they are there... Much more faint then the other track and much more faint then in the film...

Personally I think it was a mistake. Even if it was a choice by the mixer. It did not appear that way in the film and it is a very important part to that piece of music as it gives it that awkward sort of creepy feel (bad guy theme with Christmas bells)

I admit now that this was a bad thread to start... I should have just turned up the music... But I was lying in bed with my wife, who was sleeping, and I could not go much louder and it was so much more faint then the other version I was use to I figured they were missing. So yes I got up and created this account to ask that question because that is the type of OCD I have wink So I turned it up this AM after reading the post and yes they are there...

Either way it's good to finally have all the scores.

Just to officially clarify:

Disc one features the film mix while disc two is the very different album mix.

Glad y'all like the set.

Interesting... I could have sworn I could here them more in the film... Perhaps all my memories are clouded by the Original album and bootlegs...

Either way it's great to have this set.

There's definitely an error in my collection as in I haven't purchased this yet!
Any idea's of how this set is selling. Don't want to miss out.
Thanks.

In the film the bells are harder to hear which reflects the track on the first disc, although they can still be heard. The album mix has always given the bells more prominence.

A brilliant set, this has not left the player! Still trying to put together an 80 min "best of" but failing miserably!
